  • i really want to have CBR250rr but how much is this CBR 250rr and where i can get a new one? and how much if 2nd hand?

  • haha terrible start

  • @290johnson Righto hero, show us your 1/4 mile drag.

  • @eukanuba77 was the bike stock? Any mods?

  • @EQRoycerranMF It was an entirely stock CBR 250cc MC22, the only ' improvement ' was a roo racing, carbon fibre pipe.. small mods, just as the double bubble screen smoked windscreen.. but by and large, a completely ' off the floor ' bike.. was sooo much fun to ride, I really miss her.. but I've seen her going up and down the freeway here - and I have trailed.. I'm sure the new owner was thinking ' who's this freak ? ' - because she's had 3 owners since..

  • @pulsed sounds fun, I've only ridden a 1-15 rpm sportbike

  • @xmattyturbuhx ah, that's cool. Didn't know that. They sound nice like the 600s

  • @wilko21 for one thing stop trolling because noone likes that and two, Do u even ride a sportbike?

  • Ok, given this was my ' very first pass ' on the drags.. will people stop dumping shit on how i did ? I bet you made some simple mistakes the first time you did your first 1/4 mile ? besides.. it's only for fun.. nothing serious.. who actually cares ?

  • This isn't a 250 anyone who rides knows the sound difference of a 250 and a 600 1000, etc

  • @EQRoycerranMF It IS a 250cc. back in the late 80s early 90s honda made these 250s with 4 cylinder engines just like all the 600s and 1000s...hence having the same kind of sound. The newer 250s are parallel twins( ninja) and single cylinder (new honda 250r) which makes it have the other type of sound.

  • @EQRoycerranMF the only cbr that does 18-19k rpm is the 250cc. They are so fun to ride! :)

  • @Pulsed101 the fzr zxr gsx-r and cbr all stop about 18,5k rpm, there was apparently an rpm war going on so honda made the tach read higher then the actual rpm. Then again ive seen vids of these things tachs getting so far out of wack they read like 20k rpm.

  • Terrible clutch control there... Sorry mate...

  • Fuuccckkk dump the clutch a bit harder next time. Should have slipped it to keep it around 14-15k where the power is. If that was a litre bike next to you, he was ridiculously slow, they run low 10's, high 9's, not 13-14's

  • this is fake, look at the sound of it, that there is sound cbr 1000

  • @vinisuehara - it was a 250, but i have a 919 rr now.. and it sounds much meatier.. I do miss my little bumble bee.. such an angry sounding engine :)

  • @vinisuehara What 1000 turns 18k rpms

  • @vinisuehara its not fake, thats what FOUR CYLINDER 250's sound like. they don't make em like that anymore.

  • i love those high revs... too bad honda doesn't make these 250rr's anymore. i don't like their latest 250.

  • Fail at takeoff.

  • rather have a chevrolet......5.7 liter(chevy 350) kicks ass

  • @Texassince1836 I'd rather have a 1.1 liter Peugeot diesel in my GMC than a gay 350. Troll.

  • @Texassince1836 2L twin turbo 2jzgte kicks more ass

  • @Texassince1836 3L twin turbo 2jzgte kicks more ass

  • smoked doesnt really matter tho, i was all pissed cuz i got may ass smoked first run out on my street bike, and then i saw my slip said 9.82 and i dint feel so bad.... thats a kick in the ass let me tell ya...

  • Where abouts in perth are you? Im 17 looking to get one asap.

  • would anybody know how to order a cbr250 or a hornet 250 from japan... or even a website to shop in japan and order them???

  • i love this bike.. great engine until 20k rpm.. best sound ever :)

  • that's not really what your mum said.. but then again, she gave you a kiss when you got home from school..

  • @eukanuba77 ya he's right and so is born1n0z and ih8margarine. ur a great rider. the bike makes peak hp and your start was at like 7000 rpm, and you shift too slow, nearly every gear bounced off the rev limit and i highly doubt the bike you were racing was a liter bike.

  • well, I've got a litre bike now - anytime you're in Perth, W.A. feel free to stop by and we'll go 1:1 down the drags..

  • i wasn't commenting on your bike, i was giving nickisbomb a hard time about his grammar

  • Comment removed

  • honda what?

  • slower then my honda

  • who cares about your fucken Honda? Really -_-

  • shit launch

  • yeh even with LAMS the power to weight ratios for the larger bikes ur allowed to have is crap. But the RVF 400 Does look and sound nice to me, cant afford it tho. and ive always wanted a little cbr 250rr . my fave 250 by far

  • It sounds like your underwater. Oh and edit out the unnecessary bits >_>

  • Lets hope hey. It'd be good hey, cbr's are awesome but cramped and vtr's are nice and roomy. But you get a bit bored of the power after a little while. Good luck with it all.

  • No you dont, you can get any LAMS approved bike. That includes a heap of bigger capacity bikes like RVF400s, ducati monster 400 and a few others. Look around, you'll get something good.

  • get an rvf 400

  • OWN3D.

  • whats with all the haters??, its a 250, 15 seconds is a good time for that

  • you got to see what the other bike was, didnt ya ?

a 250cc cant compete against a litre bike man...

  • ah i didnt realise it was a litre

  • @eukanuba77 good vid man. I love the poser super stars, all of which have a bike faster than yours but don't have vid to back it up. Anyboby with a heartbeat can twist throttle on a litre bike. Good on you.

  • my mate cracked 13.4 on his cbr250rr

  • dude if you got your launch on a higher rev and ride out your clutch abit more you can crack the 14 second pass and also try backing of on the 16, 000 rpm, change gears when your torque runs out, see how you run, i've seen cbr250's crack a 13.9 you just have to be good at the launch and gear changing..

  • "just bolt on a turbo" oh so its that simple? man if you dont know shit about bikes, then just shut the fuck up, you embarrass urself, fuck!

  • yeah everyone listen to the guy underneath me.. everyone should get a turbo because bolting on a tubo instantly makes the bike faster which means its better......pfft

  • isnt it obvious??, hes lebonese :P haha

  • nice run(y)

    love the sound

  • no, stopped making them in about 1992

  • cool vid man

  • mate thats good for a 110kg rider,,,and 15.2 is still fun

  • depends on rider weight, too.

at that point - I was quite heavy, and around 110 kg.. so when you factor that in..

It dropped back to around 8,000 rpm when i dumped the clutch..

  • did u release the clutch too quick?

  • I think i should have feathered it out a touch, either way - for a little 45hp 250cc blade.. I was happy with my effort.

Now I've got a 900RR blade, I'll be taking it down to the track for a quick pass soon..

  • that was just a rubber "keychain"

  • What time on 1/4 mile?

  • read the description

    15.200

  • very nice video!!!!

my first bike was a 250RR, model 93!

me and my friends use to call it.."F1"

i haqve changed many bikes but i still remember it and love it!

  • should get a shift light from elipised be surprissed what rpm it really is doing.

  • have you still got that blue 1990 fireblade cbr rr 250... that is what it is cbr rr isnt it??

i just brought one off my mate and he got it from rockingham and i am wandering if it is the one on here....

  • My blade ( the one in the video ) was a 97 Aus Spec Tricolor, the one infront - was an import that belonged to a girl 'tash'..

    She sold the bike yesterday.

I sold this bike almost 18 months ago now.

  • Pretty sweet.

Nice track selection too, Prodigy ftw.

  • Yeah, if it's gonna be something.. it's gotta have an old school anthem...

I'm just wondering what I'll put to the next video I'm working on now...

    Definitely, prodigy ftmfw !

  • did he say no mate im not doing a burnout???

  • Yeah, there's the staging area.. you move up onto the burnout pad.. then the start line..

my tyres were close to being wear marker.. so I chose not to do a burnout ^_^

" Nah mate, I'm not gonna burn it "

  • i thought you said something like that. Was just wondering

that drag racing stuff looks fun. Never done it before

  • very nice thanks

  • I reckon you're full of shit, there's no WAY a 40hp 250cc bike can launch the 1/4 mile in 10 seconds.. maybe you're thinking you've got a 900cc @ 130+ hp.. seriously, then you give me a -ve rep.. grow up kiddie..

  • is this in eastern creek?

  • No, it's the Kwinana Motorplex in Perth, Western Australia.

  • anyone know if there is a factory producing the engine brand new from scratch. i.e. aftermarket engine?

  • oh really???, here i was thinking that wasn't possible... oh hang on, it's not.

  • oh i like that sound... was that your best time? i got a 14.90 on my fzr 250. but 250's are lame on the strip... well 4stroke ones anyway

  • bro did u get ur license at HART

  • nice video mate

  • he only got to lyk 140/150k

  • you should blu r out your friends number plate in front.. If an insurance company see's that they wont insure him anymore as they wont like the fact he is using it on a track.. Sorry to sound like a nag :P

  • ur fine with insurance comapanys when u ride on a legal track ur just not covered for anything that happens on there property

  • Thats the point. If he crashes the insurance will pay for it as long as they don't know where he crashed.

  • dude, he is in perth australia. at the kwinanna. its a legal track day. man its not like america where there is so much censorship you cant even scratch your own ass in public. lol

  • good one!

  • That stupid music in the background probably didn't help either!

  • clutch it out more on launch keep it on high revs and ul get a WAY better time, 250cc low-stroker's have nothing at low revs, keep it high = power, they peak at 14550rpm so if u clutch it out abobe that YOUR OFF,, nice try tho

  • dude thats a funny video. I like it LOL. My first bike was a CBR250RR i use to luv that thing, thrashed the hell out of it around Eastern Creek, Oran Park & Phillip Island on Track Days and Racing Club Days, as well as weekends with mates. But never dared to take it on the Qtr mile.

  • I love the sound of the bike!!,it sings baby!!!

  • I loved that bike !

Recently sold her to a local guy who I keep in contact with - and have bought a 900cc cbr rr ( bigger version of this bike )

I plan to put a similar video of the new bike up shortly when i get it down the 1/4 mile - it's got a yoshi usa pipe, and it GROWLS like nothing you've heard !

    Thanks for the comment !

  • Cant wait for that one!!!i might see you at the bikes only drags next time!!Keep the rubber side down brother!!

  • GOTTA!!! loooooove the keychain!!! hahahah!...

  • thanks, it's a hayabusa.. :)

  • lol

  • you duumb

  • you loose

  • Horrivel seu video!

  • good video

  • good video. To wait to see this motion running is most emotive.

  • if you dont like the video dont watch it

  • how are you supposed to know if you like the video until you watch it?

  • yes, edit your video

  • Yes, I was using the clutch.. very lightly.

Why should I edit my video ? I sat on the staging area for over an hour for that run.. it was 15 seconds to be exact for the pass.

If you dont want to watch, I'm not forcing you to.. my group of friends wanted to see this video - hence my posting it.

    Where's your video ?

  • Were you actually using the clutch to shift? Also, edit the video next time. It was about 30sec of actual racing and over 6 minutes of staging and cruising back.
