The cops were absolutely cool about the Bash. The beat cops, however, weren't allowed/supposed to comment on camera so they called for their sergeant who was the press contact for the day. All the cops were very cool and really nice to us. Kind of different.

I think you are being very disingenuous and misleading with your statements. The interviewer was tying organized crime with prohibition as an example of how our short sited policies only enhance the enrichment of the Criminals at a huge cost to our society. He clearly Does NOT Link Legalization of prostitution with legalization of marijuana, except to say, continued prohibitions on gambling, prostitution and drugs, in our present policy seems to be succeeding at making things worse.

The alchohol companies (and tabacco and pharmacudical companies) are the ones funding anti-drug advertisements and bribing politicians to keep the healthy drugs illegal so instead you have to use their drugs (which they actually CAN patent, and therefor profit off of, unlike drugs like marijuana since you can't put a patent on a plant).
