  • Master Ling is located in Sarawak (Borneo). Hokkien is commonly spoken in that part of the world. Master Francis Ling's Grandmaster is a Hakka. Master Ling can speak Hakka too but he spoke Hokkien for the benefit of the interviewer because he is not a Hakka. Master Ling is my family friend and my brother is his senior.

  • Excellent Hakka Praying Mantis. Many Hakkas speak Hokkien and other dialects.  This is a god example of a Hakka martial art.

  • There are hakkas all over the world. They are not speaking hakka but hokkien ...

    Hakkas are found in Jamaica, Barbados, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia ,USA ,Canada, Mauratius, Brunei..just to name a few countries.

  • Yeah i know, i dont understand it too, even tho i understand pretty much 99% of what my grandma used to say, lol. I speak the hakka from moy-yen, guangdong too, so maybe 'ngai chu tang eh sit'. (sorry dont know how it's written, only how it's pronounced, lol).

    Ngai chu cong hakka-fa yit tit (but not a lot)
