Master Ling is located in Sarawak (Borneo). Hokkien is commonly spoken in that part of the world. Master Francis Ling's Grandmaster is a Hakka. Master Ling can speak Hakka too but he spoke Hokkien for the benefit of the interviewer because he is not a Hakka. Master Ling is my family friend and my brother is his senior.
MAN WTF WAT THE FUCK THIS HAKKA SOUNDS SO LIKE MANDARINE!! i never knew some hakka sounds like mandarine because i was born in east timor but speak hakka i think the hakka from guangdong
Yeah i know, i dont understand it too, even tho i understand pretty much 99% of what my grandma used to say, lol. I speak the hakka from moy-yen, guangdong too, so maybe 'ngai chu tang eh sit'. (sorry dont know how it's written, only how it's pronounced, lol).

That kid is receiving a serious education. It's great to be the receiver of these little tidbits and nuggets of gold.

Excellent Hakka Praying Mantis. Many Hakkas speak Hokkien and other dialects. This is a god example of a Hakka martial art.
Thank you.
