i cant believe that some beatles fans hate tribute bands!! i think it is sweet and it gives the oppertunity for younger teens (like me) to actually experience a beatles concert! people who dont like other people enjoying and sining beatlesongs today aren't true beatles fans!

They are amazing live! That John Lennon is no longer with American English though, its a guy named Frank Canino, and he looks JUST like John Lennon. There is a video of them with Frank on my page.

We were this wild bunch who for some time did a few Beatles tribute sessions, sort of of inspired of the current Back beat movie! It was great, the response and the kick we got out of the audience were amazing! And I can see that these lads having real fun and enjoying them self as well!

I've seen a lot of Beatle tribute bands and overall these guys are the best. The "lefty" on bass is the icing on the cake! I saw them recently and they did an "after the Beatles" segment. Maybe I'm Amazed, Imagine, What Is Life, etc. It was amazing. Wow.....I just gave myself chill bumps.

When I used to live in the Chicagoland area my friend and I used to go and see them all the time, we lost count after 20 shows or so.. We both love The Beatles and American English are the perfect band to relive what we were both too young to have lived through. They do an excellent job bringing The Complete Beatles Experience t o life and they are very nice up close and personal, even their road crew are friendly and their fans are awesome as well. Beats the heck out of Beatlemania!

ive seen these guys at the abbey..

its kind of goofy cause they aren't the Beatles but the pump out some tunes very well actually and you almost forget for a minute.. i remember their version of "i Feel Fine" doing that to me. These cats are fantastic instrumentalists, and if you can get passed them not being the actual Beatles you won't be disappointed. IMO the George of the group was the best one up there, fantastic gutiar player and vocalist just on his own even..

yeah these guys are deffinately one of the top mock bands out there. i saw them at the abbey pub not that long ago.. fun show. the paul has the fucking mannerisms down pat. the john's performance is great. the ringo's drumming is spot on, but i believe the guy who plays George is the best one up there. he's an excellent guitarist and i think sings the best. i wish i could steal him for my group. . lol
