  • I love dukes❤

  • @PeteDuel1971, god, I really miss Friday nights at 8:00pm and the Dukes. For me as a kid, the Dukes of Hazzard was a weekly event! I remember being in denial about the General Lee getting destroyed after a jump sequence because I loved that car so much and still do. I wish some hollywood folks would realize that we need shows like this again. For all the RIGHT reasons!

  • The Duke family, although a fictional family, taught us about how to treat people and how to live right. If you remember, The Dukes were always mannerly and treated everyone with decency. Uncle Jesse always taught right from wrong. Even Boss Hogg and Rosco were really not that bad.

  • @charger19691 I agree with you 100%. I wasn't born when "Dukes of Hazzard" was on originally but after watching reruns and the DVDs, I learned a lot of about respecting people and becoming friends. I'm 21 now and it's my all-time favorite show. Thanks to the Dukes of Hazzard.

  • @dannyd1572, you are so right. I feel bad for kids today because they missed a great era of television. I'll always love The Dukes of Hazzard. Never missed an episode and The General Lee is still my favorite car of all time. Thanks Gy Waldron for creating this terrific part of Americana that will truly never fade!

  • Im a guy and this brings tears to my eyes. Its almost like the lost family you had when you were eight and its a family reunion. They were so much a part of our culture that I don't think anyone could understand that today.

  • Like uncle Jesse always says, "a stranger is just a friend we havn't met yet"

  • i wonder why tom wopat wasnt there

  • this was not just a show to us kids growing it they were friends that we visited every Friday night for seven years

  • i love them both will miss the show

  • Anyone know what year this was made???

  • @ghosthunternumberone 2004 according to IMDB.

  • @dukefan256 Cheers, thanks!

  • @ghosthunternumberone No Problem. I am glad that I can help

  • @dukefan256 Cheers! So have you got all the Episodes?

  • @ghosthunternumberone No. I have Seasons 1,2,5,7.

  • @dukefan256 What happened to 3 & 4 then?

  • @ghosthunternumberone I stopped asking for the seasons. I grew out of my Dukes of Hazzard phrase into Dog the Bounty Hunter phrase.

  • @dukefan256 So your no longer a Dukes fan then? Dog The Bounty Hunter is'nt anything like this show!

  • @MiniJanetOnTap Still a Dukes of Hazzard fan at heart. But I like other shows like the Dog the Bounty Hunter. Yes I know its not like the dukes, but its entertaining. Stop judging me.

  • @dukefan256 ooooooh Touchy!

  • RIP Paul Baxley (3-5-11) and Peggy Rea (2-4-11)

  • @nicolelylewis yes i agree with you on that.i hope they are both resting in peace now.they both deserve it.

  • I think that Tom wants to do something else to be known for.

  • @ilovetallwomen22 Eceactly

  • @ilovetallwomen22 He was doing broadway when this was filmed.

  • @ilovetallwomen22 He was doing broadway and I think he does not want to known for being on the Dukes of Hazzard.

  • I met John Schneider on the Dukes of Hazzard set at Warner Brothers Studios when I was a runaway teen in 1980. He saved my life that day and 20plus years later he's still one of my heroes. Love you John. Wish you can come and sing for our troops when they come home in Febrary2009 from Iraq. My husband is amongst them. Sgt. Alexander. We miss and love you. See you next year.
