The first part showing the crew gearing up and responding P1 was staged for the benefit of the camera crew on station, and after parking in the engine bay, the actual call came in, note P1 is in station when P2 and the Platform respond?

how do permanent firies get alerted to calls? is it still with a pager? i am applying as soon as im old enough for a permanent cfa job and all info i can get is greatly appreciated
