I've done my research online about the decks. Of course we notice the difference but I will test them on people around here as you have done. Ordered 12 of these along with double backers. They faro better because they are traditionally cut I believe.
Im still keeping my rider back gimmicks! especially twilight angels! I totally agree though, i could instantly tell the difference so maybe it is just a magicial thing but im gonna miss the rider backs! maybe noone else can tell but they are still as you said "what I grew up on" and im only 16
im going to keep my rider back invisible deck forever so i dont have to buy the mandolin version lol, it's not that I dont like them it's that im not used to them, like you said at 4:10

Sounds like it only stops us from printing on rider backs, but would it be wrong to continue to gaff my cards? ie short card/corner, rough smooth?
