Oh i've already played some games that REQUIRE a GTX260 or Better. Order Of war Being one of them (coolest RTS i've seen in awhile)

Ghost busters also runs flawless on a 260/280.

You Really Need a Enthuist card if you plan on playing smoothly at 1080p with All the goodies enabled.

You spend more on the PC itself.

But unlike consoles the games arn't 60$ and you dont pay 90$ for a Adapter,35$ for a cable and 50$ for a handle.

They'll Nickle and Dime you on the consoles IMO.

dunno order of war was chugging along on my 7850+X2 BE @3.112Ghz/ Evga8800GTS SuperSuperClock 640MB

about 23-34fps @ 1920x1200@60hz medium/high/high.

not terrible but not exactly smooth either.

Sure, it doesn't require that much to play period, but to play it and enjoy it at what would be considered medium/high settings that let you really enjoy the game, yes you will need something much better. System reqs are simply to run the game, not run it well.
