I was wondering is the sample section works when using it as a midi controller for traktor?... since there is no real audio signal through the mixer, is there?.. And can you prelisten with headphones when using it as a midi controller?

Ich hab ein ähnliches Set up: DDM4000, Audio 8 DJ (mit midi halt), 2 Turntables...

Ich habe halt Channel 1 & 4 als Audio-Channel definiert und 2 & 3 jeweils als "Effektkanal" zu den jeweilegen traktorchannel... so kann ich doch relativ easy gater, filter ect nutzen was beim mixer selbst zu aufwendig wäre...

Man kann von jedem Channel plus Fader, Mic und Sampler als Midi-signal senden...machen die pioneers aber genau so (dafür kann man bei denen die tast-leds nicht ansteuern ;-)

@CSSPWNER1494 das Behringer Mischpult ddm 4000 hat sowohl ein eigenes Audiointerface (wie halt ein normales Mischpult) und dazu noch ein Midi-Interface womit man ein Programm mit Lehrnfunktion (in dem Fall hier Traktor) ansteuern kann.

@ChannelTheVillain ganz meine meinung, deren angst ensteht daraus dass digitales mixing ein weitaus größeres potential hat als das standartmix mit turntables, deswegen ist das einzige wahre mit echtem vinyl auflegen.

can you help me? i have bought the USB and have it running to the in/out but not thru... my traktor does not recognize that the mixer is even on. it recognized the usb/midi cable, im not sure why, but the midi maps just dont do it for me. downloaded 3 different ones :(

maybe you have the wrong cabel did you have an usb to midi in /out cable ? Or maybe you have to install the driver for the midi interface

Yes! Traktor is amazing i was thinking of going serato scratch live but man for what you pay for and get with traktor scratch i feel its more worht going traktor scratch pro than anything else! Also that behringer mixer is not very expensive and has midi in/out and thru so you can control and assign every thing directly from the mixer to work inside of traktor!

jetzt mal eine frage ... bin halt auch dran mir equip zu holen. Ich dachte an den mixer , weil lange haltbar und vllt. eine kleine herausforderung für den anfänger .

Kann man den mixer an sein pc mit cinch kabeln anschließen ?

wenn nicht wie dann.

Kann man ohne decks auflegen ?

sprich nur mit traktor und die virtuellen decks benutzen ?
