In the german version of body harvest is no blood on the floor (or the whole game) after adam lost it by hurting from the alien. I was long time without answer why the alien take his arm on the ground (here is blood but not in the german version^^). In the end the bad adam say he was create from a blood drop, now i understand it completly.^^

Kinda reminds me of starship troopers, except for the time travel thing, and the bugs didn't shoot at the soldiers. Just tore them apart.

omg this game was the best :( it was kinda scary, especially when there was a harvest going on while you were far away and you couldnt do anything so a mutant gotspawned lol and then you hear the low noises of its jumping toward you!!! aaahahahahahaaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­! and then when the max ppl died when there whould be lightning i mean WTF THE WHOLE WORLD IS DOOOOOMED@!@!#@#@!

I remember buying this game because a local grocery store was selling it for 4,95 right after it's release for some promotional purposes I guess. I didn't like the look of the game and for 5 bucks I figured it was crap, but a 64 game back then was 50 bucks avg, so I bought it anyway. Then I started to play and after about 5 hours I realized I was completely hooked. You can tell by the free roaming in the game, it was made by the guys that later made the GTA series.

This game is actually the pre cursor to grand theft auto III as DMA design as we all know became Rockstar games and uses this game engine for GTA III, loved body harvest back in the day... wait... no I still do!

The manual for this state says that the shields are preventing rescue forces from moving in.

Plus, don't forget that the aliens always choose a period of conflict to invade. It goes WWI Greece, WWII Java, Vietnam era USA, and post-perestroika Russia. The military has better things to do fighting human enemies.

Hmm, I agree with the Video poster... I'd say gameplay was epic.. for the fact that Body Harvest was the only game where I DIDNT feel like it was just repetitive. ... Now.. how dare you say Hero is too hard XP You PUNK!!... but yes.. The bosses and some of the fights on hero are... epic if you don't use some cheap work arounds on them

I bought this game for like 10 bucks in 2003-04 something. It wasn't worth it, however. mostly due to repetitive gameplay and lousy controls. Besides the controls, the game has a good feel to it, but after an hour you realize that you do the same thing over and over again (kill aliens and pull switches) and you never feel that you do any real progression, so you can't really mean that Body Harvest has good gameplay.
