I teach grade 5 and one of our standards is Vertex Edge graphs. I had NO CLUE how to teach them, since I never learned about them in school (you know when the dinosaurs reigned). At any rate, thanks for posting this! You just taught a group of 5th graders this concept and we are happy for it.

Nicely done. I'm interested enough to check our Part 2. Way to keep things running while away at all of the ACT meetings. Those have been testing Erin a bit as well. She has dropped a few screencasts for her students as well. Keep up the good work!
