Indeed. Got me thinking why Symphonia had a original super optional boss and not a Norse God.
Perhaps it was because Symphonia didn't have as many Norse myth references as Phantasia did. Well, Tales of Graces was announced, so ... Nah, there's not way it would have a God of old world mythology. Oh! But maybe by some off chance Tales of VS. will. :o
Yeah we need more of those. When I first saw Norse God or beings in Tales I was thiinking that they had something to do with Valkyrie Profile. Then I had to research. Tales of Games needs more cameos from other games besides tales series characters. I wanna see Guys like Devil Jin or a Time Crisis Boss jump in on the fun.
Well, they kind of did for a few games. Narikiri Dungeon 3? There are costumes of Gil from Tower of Drauga (sp? Is the character's name even Gil?) and KOS-MOS from Xenosaga.
I think there's more Tower of Drauga references in a main Tales title.
Nice. That would be a nice boss fight again in another tales of... game.

Neither have I. Which is why I don't know who Gil is. I just know he has gold armor and is from Tower of Drauga.

i only played tales of phantasia,,, but i think it has to do with the time lines,,,, less emphasis is places on them in the future
