Holy crap, this was all High School music, 10th grade and up.

At 16 years old I had no problem pulling off those moves and coming off the dance floor soaked in sweat. If I tried to do that now at nearly 40 years old I would be in the ER.

Though it doesn't have a name that we know of, we can say that that move is a quintessential early 90s New Jack Swing staple. Hammer used to do it, BBD used to do it, EVERYBODY used to do it.

You do it like a jumping jack except that when you bring your feet together you bend one knee and let your lower leg cross behind the straight supporting leg. If that don't make sense, just keep watching this video until you get it!

As for the robocop, check us out at like 1 min and 32 seconds of this video.

Choosing which dances to put in was hard work. This dance turned out to be about 3 mins which is waaaaay longer than our usual dances. But our students were gamers and learned super fast. It killed us to pass on some of the old school dances but in the end we just couldn't do them all!
