Congratulations stupid there's no mac download.

Direct X is required to run the linked demo. If you have a dual boot Mac, you can run the demo while running in windows mode. Macs are great and stable, but for work I require several programs that wont run on a mac.

Nope, I use max 9.0. I have been too lazy to get the 9.2 update. But I am only using XP so I don't need the vista fix. It works the best for me because I use plugins that don't work in some of the newer versions. Max has had 2 updates since version 9: max 2009, & max 2010.

Max will cost you about $3000usd. You can also find other programs that work similar to 3ds max, for not nearly as much.

As for the links, the program I released was free, the program I made it with was only $150 bucks. It is a great program and you can do all sorts of stuff with it. Search youtube for 3DRAD and you will see some of the programs people have made with it :)

Yea, it is 3ds Max, 3Ds Max uses something called Reactor inside the program, which uses Havok for the physics, etc
