I was 7 when i got mine out. I dint feel anthg after the operation. I could immediately talk eat and stuff. The doc said i was brave. They encouraged my mom to give me cold things to eat like ice cream. I remembered for a few days or so.. any ice cream i wanted i got! :*

DON'T EVER USE A STRAW WHEN YOU GET YOUR TONSLIS OUT PERIOD! my moms a nurse and she said to never use a straw i am planning to get my tonsils out this summer. the reason why you should not is cause all the air in he straw drys up were you had you tonsils out and can make bleeding get your tonsils out when you are younger , older your in bed more it hurts WAYYYYYY MORE ! If you are planning to get them out good luck :)

i had my tonsils for over 2 years at that time the docters told it was dificult to take the tonsil out cause there was an important artery which could bleed in the surgery but any way after 1 year i found a better doc' to do the surgery it was scary as hell!
