@jasonism123 The amp can most certainly handle it. What you should do (what Laney should have done) is use it to drive a cabinet with a bigger speaker or speakers. Pull the internal speaker wires off the speaker and use a set of jumpers to connect it to a 1/4" plug, and you can drive any cabinet that is the right impedance. Drive a 2x12 with this, and put a good condenser a foot back and a little off-center, and you'll be in heaven! Hell, the champ 600 has the internal speaker on a 1/4" jack!

... sounds so much better on single coils, middle and neck... humbucker obviously hotter but loses so much natural tone. 2 mins 30 secs before we get in to the sound of guitar and amp?
