@mrcampbell06 yes, you can use ANY 35mm adapter.. does not have to be expensive.. as for lenses, get a prime lens like a 1:1.8 or 1:1.4 or 1:1.2 if you can afford it. any make, as long as it fits the 35mm adapter you choose.
This is some amazing footage! I have been actually working on building a rig almost exactly what you have. This is a great preview on the the kind footage it'll be able to make. Thanks for that! My one question is, what step ring, for SGBlade, did you get to work with your Panasonic?
@amnaldo321 thanks, i used 2 rings, the 1 that i ordered with the sgblade,( 58 to 72 ) and also a 46 to 58 to go from the camera (46mm to a 58mm) i got that offf ebay for about £3
you can probably get 46mm to 72mm step up ring, but i wanted the flexibility to make it easier to unscrew the camera from the sgblade.
Very relaxing to watch and lovely music!! Brought back memories for me, my family owned huts in Carbeth, sadly they dont anymore, except my aunt, she still has hers and im sure she and her family still use it! You seem to have great talent in filming and editing! Well done,
beautiful - absolutely beautiful. Captured the peace of the place perfectly, and you even filmed us out for a walk. what a surprise that was seeing me and my man walking in your film !
@robblac Does the adatper give a good shallow depth of field. Like if i zoomed in on someones face would the background be nice and blured like in movies? Also i forgot do you need a adapter to attach this lens onto the camera and does it work with the cameras own focus wheel or do you need to do that on the lens its self?
@zunzagiTV yesm that is what it is designed for, but its a thousand pounds, you can get cheaper ones. the canon lens attached to the 35mm adapter , that attaches to the camcorder., tha cameras own focus wheel will not pull focus, no.
@robblac So if i was filming a moving shot with the camcorder with the lens attached would autofocus not be active? And i would have to focus manually?
Wundervolle Arbeit. Danke!
