Verizon iPhone 4 CAN text and talk at same time, just no text pics or vid. The amount of time I wasted with little or no signal and dropped calls, more than justifies my switch to Verizon's (Vz) better geographic coverage. If I averaged out the data speeds, (usually low signal on at&t) and Vz's slower, but more consistent data, Vz is much faster. Example, if I'm commuting on a bus and trying to watch streaming videos, at&t would drop the stream, but Vz would play during the whole commute.

I love the fact that whenever someone wants to talk about switching to another phone company for whatever reason (not just the new iphone), they always talk about how expensive the contract cancellation fee is. Don't people know that they can just wait until the contract runs out?? You may have to wait a while before you get your new gay phone, but at least the $325 or whatever is in your pocket. Plus, by the time it runs out, they might fix whatever problems there are with the verizon iphone.

The facts are blown out of proportion in this video. Not to sound like an angry internet user, but this isn't a good video. Most carriers have two year contracts, meaning that after two years, you have fulfilled your agreement, and are not met with an ETF fee at cancellation. Also, the Verizon iPhone 4 IS capable of multitasking (to an extent). Multitasking is properly used in reference to a device's ability to run simultaneous applications, not have simultaneous voice and data transmission.
