I suppose a choking hazard wasn't one of the "creator's" top priorities. Neither was giving us an extra set of useless molars nor a vestigial tail bone or an appendix. We petty mortals can design CARS better than this.

Part of my little autistic life as a kid was speech therapy and I would sometimes feel the speech teacher's adam's apple moving up and down during singing, speaking and swallowing and found it interesting. However I never got the concept of vocal cords until later. Today I get asked all the time to sing in karaoke bars. And holy smokes i think i took my own singing class without choirs or voice lessons

I don't know if it's possible, but can you please please get a video like this with a professional singer and have someone analyze what's going on at different vocal ranges so we can all learn what's happening when someone's singing properly or in a way that is harming their vocal folds. thanks.
