  • Badass gotta love the midwest

  • can someone please explain this kind of derby. yes i know its a team, but how does it work?

  • @dreadnaught6399

There are 8 teams per night. Each race consists of 4 on 4. The goal is to get 1 car to complete 5 laps around the tires. The other cars can do everything in their power to block for their team mates and take out the other team in the process. The winning team advances on in the bracket. They have to win 3 races in a night be the Champion of that event.

  • @dreadnaught6399 eight teams and they compettet for pinots who ever has the most points out of all the team when the season is over that team wins the championship

  • try hitting at speed

  • @TheChopperLine

    Try opening your eyes.

  • @TheChopperLine they where hittin at speed, those are the hardst hits ive seen

  • @TheChopperLine you are an idiot....that is honestly some of the fastest hardest hitting demo derby i have ever seen

  • @crackard420 Run em open wide. No mud. Try sprintcars with thick steel bumpers, reinforced concreate walls and full contact. Thats how we do it down here. "Teams champs greatest hits" watch it!

  • This is pea brain entertainment, LOL.

  • @mikestheman3 Yup and you watched it and commented too ! Wow super pea brain .

  • @Concretehead01 Because somebody with your low level mentality sent me the link. Concreatehead & pea brain, good match, just like what I said, LOL.

  • Full speed demo derby nice!

  • i LOVEE demo derby at route 66!!!!!!!!!!! junkyard dogs FTW

  • Okay that was so boring brittish banger racing is way better.

  • @jesuisscott

Come here, and you'd feel differently.

UK can have their suicidal slaughters, we'll keep the hardcore racing and crazy crashes.

  • wow thats a hard hit at 2:15.

  • hope that monster truck join them too.....

  • And yet i've seen derbies where the contestants merely tap eachother. Seriously, it's like they're afraid to wreck their cars!

  • orange crush rocks!

  • Awesome! entire video.

  • man reckonings nuts, that old ass wagon deserved an actual derby, it woulda beat down alot of cars

  • simply amazing

  • A great vid and killer action! Two thumbs up.

  • awesome!!!!!!!!

  • AWESOME!

  • this is awsome great video. i guess i have a question as well wat rules do u guys have?

  • This is not a normal demo derby. Basically two teams on the track with 4 cars each. First team to have a car collect 5 laps wins the round. 8 teams...single elimination tournament...so as a team you could go 3 rounds in a night and need 12 cars. Big track and it is not uncommon for some of these cars to have 500hp plus...so some huge hits.

  • no i know that. i mean the rules like how you can build your car?

  • Very limited welding...only a few model cars not allowed...like Imperials, some full frame lincolns and caddies. Pretty much everything else goes. Most teams drop in high powered engines...lock the diff...chain up the front ends so when they crush they fold up. If you really want to know...go to this forum and ask...few drivers post there:

  • sucks...can't post a link.

If you google "speed and destruction forum" it will be the first site.

  • k thanks

  • There is an event tomorrow night 7/25...make the drive.

  • im in ks buddy i dont think i will be able to make that drive

  • whats the payout to win one of these team derbies? seems like it would cost a lot with all of those cars...and you could use them to run in 5 other derbies.

Other than that, this shits awesome

  • Not 100% certain on this, but I think this is the breakdown:

    Final Round Winner: $7,000

    Final Round Loser: $5,500

    Semi-Final loser: $4,500

    First Round Loser: $3,300

A guaranteed $3000 is a lot better looking, and better odds to win, than 5 county-fair derbies. Could wasted $1,000 in entry fees and get back maybe that or even less.

  • wow thats a great pay...i'd hate to have to drive all the way out there from sw ohio though. The only derbies we go to, are our local county fair which pays $2k, and the bigger $10k derbys..theres about 6 a year within 2 hours drive
