@dododnej He is running windows on his mac using virtual machine software called VM Ware fusion. You can also use parallels or virtualbox etc. If you mean how did he move vm ware to the other screen, he has that screen connected in a dual screen setup to his Macbook.

I'm not very tech-savy yet and I was wondering how you have the monitor and the MBP, each with different backgrounds yet you could move the windows program to the big monitor? Is it two different computers or is it just setup to where you're able to do that?

@TheJordan888888 With a Mac you can set the background image to be different on each display. Just drag the preference pane over to it then swap it to whatever you like. Windows is running in some software called VMWare Fusion. It's a virtual machine which allows you to run different operating systems and software on top of others, so you can run Windows on top of the Mac OS, or Linux for example. Very useful if you need Windows software when on your Mac and don't want to reboot into it!

i have close to the same setup we have the exact same tv mac and xbox 360. I run parallels instead of vm have a 1 terebyte for time machine partioned thou for storing editng and movies dell wireless mouse and keyboard also moved my router to my room for the extra speed to xbox and mac. I run windows 7 and windows xp black edition. if you dont mind telling me how much the "m" dock cost?
