This workaround is recommended:

1.When Firefox is started,launch the Windows Task Manager (press CTRL+ALT+DEL,

3.Locate and right-click on the Firefox process

4.Select the set affinity option from the popup menu

problem. I log onto my computer and it starts up real slow.(not normal) Then when i run firefox at some point, whatever sound is playing loops and freezes, and firefox gets ridiculously unresponsive to anything. I X it out and the rest of my computer (OFFline) acts the same way. My mouse can't click on anything and bring it up because everythings frozen. eventually, the mouse stops moving as well. I freed space, and it still acts like an asshole. HELP ME!!!!!!!
