@cb7pwn if YOU honestly think you DON'T need multiple rods to tournament fish, YOU'RE an ignorant douche. Different applications require different line sizes and types - for instance, can't fish topwater with fluoro because it sinks and ruins the bait's action. But, if you're fishing jigs on deep structure, you want fluoro because it doesn't stretch (better sensitivity and hooksets). Also, if you're flipping, you want heavy line, but if you're cranking, heavy line doesn't work...
If your fishing tournaments for thousands of dollars with one rod your not very smart. What happens when your one rod breaks? Or the 7lbs tournament wining bass breaks off your spinner bait, spend time tieing on another or reach down on the deck for your other rod thats already rigged.
