Great little camera, Like you say its great with the batteries. i have 3 x crv3 and a charger that i got from ebay. It has never let me down.

I also added 2 lens 3 filters and an adapter tube for even more choice in picture taking.

Recomended superb camera.

i have this camera (ive had it for about a year) but i dont really use it bcuz i hate buying batteries. i usually just buy plain Duracel batteries. but i was wondering what kind of batteries would be best for this camera?

well when i first got the camera it came whit crv3 then after that i got some rechargeable aa at got a radio shack they work very well

About the editing...I use Movie Edit Pro 12 and it handles the MOV Quicktime files just fine.

I would suggest you get the newer Movie Edit Pro 15, which has just come out.

(I've used it to record speeches and festivals for over an hour at a time and chop up the video for you tube.

I got it in 2005 and again in 2006 when dropped the 1st from a moving truck.

This camera has been a real workhorse for me, recording photos and videos.

Nearly all my You Tube videos prior to 2009 were recorded with this camera, and I still use it everyday!!!

Over 50,000 photos and hundreds of hours of video later...it is still going strong!

Great info!

Download a free video coverter program (I use "any video converter") and it will convert your video to a windows format. You can then watch your videos on media player and edit with windows movie maker.
