  • hi mikey are you going to do a tutorial on the p51 also ,...i have built the sport trainer and have started on the p51, going to start the spitfire next

  • Hi,

The battery is 11.1V, but the servo's work on 4.8-6.0V, should I do anything about that?

  • @gilifon As long as you use an ESC that has a built in BEC you will be fine. This is just how the RC parts work.

  • what about torque roll does the motor have to be tipped to counter it ?

  • @rubicon31 There really isn't a way to counter torque roll on a single engine plane....maybe mounting the battery slightly to one side but the way I have this plane set tp with a 1400KV motor and a 10X6 prop I never really had a problem with torque roll.

  • how much does the whole plane weights?

  • @TheMatej97 Dunno .....about 700 grams with the battery I think.

  • Could you use a 2200 11.1v batt, just move it farther back?

  • @starwarsjazz That battery would be a little too big for this plane.

  • could you put flaps on this plane

  • Yeah but no need to put flaps if you have a radio that can "program" flaps into the ailerons.

  • one last question can you put a rudder instead ailerons

  • This plane would probably not fly well if at all with only a rudder and elevator.

  • thanks sorry for all the questions

  • Nice gun ! I must buy one .

  • love this simple build. easy to find material as well. good job mate.
