  • AH, I remember the sequels. Sam Suds vs. Asbestos The Infamous Insulator, or my personal favorite Sam Suds vs. The Radioactive Syndicate. Also known as: please do ones on these topics, as they are also important and cool.

  • This cartoon is fucking epic, really entertaining and informative.

They need to make more cartoons like this.

  • I do think we need to stop using due to the recycling problem. I'm an environmentalist, so I've kind of put the environment first. One reason I buy farmed fish and corals for my tank.

  • It's no the pvc it's self that's toxic, it's the chemicals that are added to make it flexible that are. This is why PVC pipes are non toxic, but "rubber duckies" are.

  • what's the detective music? it's realy good.

Thanks freerangestudious I have learned alot from you're videos making me more aware of the big and the small details.

  • dumb

  • There's also female hormones in plastics too. And plastics make you fat, if you don't believe me check out the Kevin Trudeau Show, 10/6/10.

  • this sucks

  • BOO!

  • this video is a very entertaining way to show people that pvc is important and that we need to be careful...

  • @whatsthecharge ......wtf? i didnt even understand a single thing u said

  • @whatsthecharge shut the fuck up u retard!

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* the flame green in PVC plastic with lighter for know in humidity, the hydrogen chloride in the water

    for production of hydrochloric acid

  • how bout cfc's?

  • cool

  • Awesome!!!!!!

  • in order to get canswer from PVC you wold hvae to be exposed to PVC fro at least a few years, adn the toxic gases wont hurt you unless you put you head IN a bag made of PVC and took big breaths...good god! if PVC is poison why do you think the stores and even ALLOWED to sell it?!?? PVC IS JUST A TYPE OF HARD PLASTIC?

  • @cole2002020020 The reason stores are allowed to sell it is because it is actually helping the chemical manufacturers and it makes alot of money by selling toxic waste products. You should do a little research before you get all emotional and crazy about it.

  • oh my.

    Ur funniest persons on youtube!

  • Because they don't know how bad it is, lots of people don't.

  • This video explains alot and in an easy way...;)

  • I liked that! It was definitely creative and original.

  • hang on, say the water in the shower is 40 celsius hot, how can PVC of the curtain degrade at that temperature and smell? I would think smell is more likely due to bacteria

  • well, in fact the smell is not because of the degradation of the curtain, the curtain smells when its new because of the toxic additives that are needed to create the curtain that are off-gassing

  • It's a chemical smell.

  • wow, this video is so fail i can't even laugh at its stupidness.

  • nice:D

  • There's a three on this duck's butt!

  • You just out figuring that out sherlock?

  • great vid

  • y is the 3 in the middle of he recycling sign???

  • Can i shoot you through the head? Thank you.

  • Can You Stop Being A Faggot?

  • Can you stop being a moron who comments without thinking.

  • ...but my hydroponic system is made from pvc, what am i supposed to grow my herb in?

  • im always going to look for the 3

  • i wanna shoot u right out of a pipe of pvc

  • PVC isn't the only poison plastic. The only ones that are actually safe are the ones with recycling numbers 1,2,4 and 5. The rest are deadly.

  • @Delaughenated Is PVC fashion "evil" too? I thought it was the fave of vegans because it is "animal friendly"

  • Thanks for the important information well presented. But we should bear in mind that even though PVC is even worse than the other plastics, all plastics are bad for your health and the environment, are manufactured using toxins, and are treated with toxic chemicals. Cut down on all plastic use!

  • not only plastic, but pretty much any petroleum by-product is bad for you.

  • OMGosh!!! This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!

Thank you, for making this and sharing it! FAV'D and FEATURED!!!

  • After I saw this, I took action - I almost started a PVC FREE campaign at my school, but it will happen in September now I think.

Now Im super careful to avoid everything vinyl.

lol, now all my friends and most of my school know about it too. Thanks Free Range!

  • Good for you.

  • All right, PVC sucks, but you know why we make so much of it? The C stands for chlorine, that is a by product of the sodium industry, and we dont use as much chlorine as we use sodium. chlorine is a highly toxic gas that just cant be thrown in the air, so people decided to make plastic with it. To make a proper disposal of all that chlorine would make things that use sodium more expensive. And that´s a lot of things... It just sucks to get cancer for high consumption rates. Think globally!

  • Wow ! Thank you for this video. I had no idea about PVC.

  • But it smells so good!!

  • lmao, where in the house was he hiding? Nice word play. lol, these videos are awesome.

  • After this vid, I went looking at all my stuff.

  • Very elaborate, thought out, and informative 4/5, great video!

  • Yikes! New shower curtain smell is toxins being released?? Oy vey.

  • Sounds like the book Tough Cookie...

  • You all realize of course that PVC pipe is one of the most commonly used pipes in the construction industry, and that there are probably pvc pipes in your homes right now.

  • & to think condoms make us miserable not only from strangulation but from toxic chemicals released. My chemicals are cleaner than any pvcs. Fuck the women for daring to question it & fuck the Govt for making aids & other terrorist stuff that they hide cures for. It's just like making the enemy stronger so you can demand high price for its treatment whether in the form of chemicals or supposed protection of terrorism.

  • Ack, I can't type this late at night.

Correction: a lot of GOVERNMENTS are more sensible than America's.

  • Come to think of it, I mostly see on products 6's, 5's, and 4's. I think I've only seen 3's a couple times in my life. I didn't know you could make siding out of vinyl. But what about people's vinyl record collections? You can't stop that.

  • If its so toxic why is it still being used everywhere? Isn't it the responsibilty of governments to ban it?

  • It's also the gov't responsibility to keep their countries safe from terrorism and help when natural disasters strike. The gov't does shit. They only listen to lobbyists, most of them are from oil companies, which produce plastic.

  • Just look at Denmark, we have a responsible government, we have the lowest *other example* sugar tolerance levels in food in all of Europe, but ever since we joined the EU we have had to lower our standards dramatically, "government" isn't perfect. They have to protect us and the producers, which are not always the same. >:

  • Yes, I know Denmark and a lot of countries in the EU are a lot more sensible than America's. I was talking about our government.

Yes, I know how to spell government. "Gov't" is an English abbreviation for "government."

Also, what about vintage vinyl clothing from the '80s? What about pleather? Like new car smell?

  • Great video! PVC is so toxic--everyone needs to see this video because most household bathrooms today "smell like a new shower curtain!"

  • But homes have plumbing, a lot of which is made with PVC pipes. Luckily, they're underground. What about those three-way PVC connector thingies? People use those all the fucking time!

Let's face it, PVC is here to stay. How about we work on just keeping it out of the bathroom?

  • This is a humorous and creative way to inform people about the dangers of PVC. Thank you so much for creating this video!

  • Great video! Thank you for the informative video. Loved it - do another one. Thanks

  • Thanks for sending me the info about Number 3.

  • The Consumer Product Safety Commission and other government agencies had found

vinyl "safe and effective" in toys and other products

  • Please provide URL of "safe and effective" report from gov't agency

  • Since the mid-60's, it has been known that vinyl chloride (precursor to PVC) is extremely carcinogenic and damaging to the bones (acroosteolysis). The Manufacturing Chemist s' Assoc. was well aware of this.Read DECEIT & DENIAL.
