I think we should be able to do it within the law, but the quality of management in our financial institutions and (eg the Iceland Banks fiasco below, in local government would appear on about the level of a failed YTS trainee! These people should be named, shamed and fired without any protection beyond a month's pay in lieu of notice! It should be made illegal for contracts to disallow getting rid of the useless!
