you are holding your cello like a baroque cello but I'm pretty sure it's not. Is that just your choice of style in holding the instrument?

Beautiful! I am a cello player ( student) and I am playing this piece in my AMEB music exam this year. My cello teacher also plays piano and she will accompany me.
I am an adult student, and when I see cellists like you play, it inspires me so much. I started at 35 and I am now 40, and my dream is becoming a reality.
