I remember that snow storm, because my snowblowers wheel fell off and i had to shovel by hand, I lived in scotia then, the town you are driving through in the beginning.
Thank you so much for this video. I lived on Eastern Parkway and spent many a day in Central Park. I still have relatives back there and miss the area so much. Please keep these videos comming, they really look wonderful here in Arizona. I have a brother still living on Eastern Pkwy and another living in the stockade area, unfortunately they are not computer savvy and never send me anything from back home. You really make my day.
I am just amazed the cars can even stay on the road! You guys back east really had a crappy winter, didn't you? let's hope the summer brings unusually beautiful weather. The scene at 1:45 was like a postcard. The buildings in your town are so charming. Monument Hill is beautiful! Loved these videos. -Steven-
Great video! You caught quite a bit of the storm. I see you used to live near Tam's Tanning. I used to go into Vale from that side very often to the pond to fish. A friend of mine owns a few houses in that area (rentals). I love driving around in a storm LOL Me and my Dad used to all the time when I was a kid. I wouldnt be without 4 wheel drive. The park looks great all snowy! Hey, wonder how many times the plow will go through the ice on the pond this year? LOL Thats the video to get LOL
I gotta say, you've really put me in the Christmas spirit seeing Central Park all snowy. Ive been down that hill a million times on a sled or tobogan, later as I got older we used tubes! That BUMP thats always in the middle of the hill would propel us into flight as soon as we hit it with our tubes LOL Another great memory! Thanks :-)
