  • I used to load a lot of small operations like that. Many of them bought cushion sand from us for pools and house pads. Construction is pretty bad right now, though. I don't see how those small guys hang in there.

  • we had to blast to get my pool in

  • why dig out the bottom deeper on such a small pool? wasted hlaf the pool for the small kids

  • @brianstacync what small kids???

  • awsome video and great job for $1000!! he couldnt have made any money at that price

  • @Ls7colorado we did some math, and the guy only makes like $400

  • Did the $1000 cover reseeding the grass? Nice video

  • @1toomanyhobbies oh yeah it only cost like $400

  • looks like you live in a very sandy area no way you could dig like that were im from to many rocks

  • say you have to replace the liner after ten years cuz of a rip or something, and say the dirt is very sandy or lose, when you take the water out of the pool to install a new liner, the thin metal walls will cave in and your pool is basicly fucked, ive seen it happen prob 4 times. acctually once we were replacing a liner on an old pool that was only sunk 2 feet and it caved in sucks for the owners because we warned them that it might happen and well it did, we were there 2 weeks later for new pool

  • ya i believe that, some pools are more pricy than others the cheap ones are shit to put up because the steel is flimsy and weak, also the parts dont line up as well, we install the pools diffrently and lost people fill with their garden hose takes about a day and a half, the point of my comment was more so to point out that sinking an above ground pool is not a good idea and i wouldnt suggest it to anyone. will continue this in another comment.....^^^^

  • cant wait for part 2

  • @zundappchef it's coming later today

  • we had one like that when I was a kid. they kept the dirt there then once the pool was up they put it around the pool to make the walls stronger and also it was cool cus it was 5 ft deep but only above ground 2 ft, so we could just run and jump over the side. great vid !!!

  • @bigalwillis that would be cool

  • @bigalwillis funny thing, that makes the pool weaker and voids the warranty, sinking an ABOVE GROUND pool is a terrible idea and they are not built for it. thats why there is such a thing as an in-ground pool. above ground pool 3000$ in-ground pool 20,000$ there are many reasons for that. p.s. i install pools for a living so dont try and tell me im wrong.

  • @eclipse10101 this pool in the video cost $5000 just for the pool, the digging was $1000 and the installing was $500 and $300 for the water...

  • @vmxrm85 thats about $6,800 total

  • @Obieden1 yup

  • @vmxrm85 wow, 1000 for the digging, it would cost 3 times that in my country.

  • @eclipse10101 I was a kid and could run & jump over the side is all im sayin ..... warranty ,,, wasn't even thinkin about it, I was 12 yrs old lol ,,,, very easy to clean also.......& as far as I know its still there today.

  • @bigalwillis i bet it is read my comments below to see why its not a good idea, if you ever decide to get one yourself i suggest not to sink it.

  • @eclipse10101 I understand what you're saying man. . . people didn't want me to have a 530hp engine in my car either but when its sliding sideways I forget all that! :) take care . . .

  • 21 in you mean 21 foot?

  • @bakirkwold yeah my bad

  • nice man thanks for filming that i never saw them dig or install a pool before

  • @chevy77rracer yeah no problem
