Jacob, I've been a fan of Peter from his earliest Genesis stuff. I'm a guitar player and song writer. I thought I'd never have the chops for his work, but after hearing this and sub-divisions, I gave it a try, I'm not any where close to your proficiency but I , at least could play along with my 12 string. Thanks for giving me some real inspiration and courage to try ! You now have at least one more fan, ME !

I rarely like covers, especially of Peter's work. His songs are mostly too sublime for covers which usually end up just detracting from the song & sounding like a pale copy. However, you really pulled this off. There is enough originality to make it worth listening to for someone who loves & listens to the original over & over, but not so much to lose the essence of the original that makes great. Thanks for honouring a great song & artist! I look forward to listening to more of your work.

Found the Subdivisions video at first and thought it was a brilliant cover, but this one was better. I'd never heard the Peter Gabriel version before this and it is an incredible rendition. It keeps enough if the original melody but it's like a brand new song! Gotta get you some airplay and some concert dates here in the States!!

I didn't think I'd hear a better arrangement of a cover song than I heard with "Subdivsions". But you totally blew me away with this piece. I sincerely hope that Peter Gabriel hears this. If there was ever a more perfect rendition of this song I'd love to hear it because I think this is absolutely the best. I love the sound you get from your set up. Acoustic/Electric. Great arrangement!! Also dig your Subdivisions performance on the roof! I was kinda scared you might fall off the roof though, it looked like you were kinda close to the edge. I know both the Beatles & U2 did performances on rooftops. What a cool idea. I've seen him do this live and the tones he gets in the fret hammering are hypnotic. As great as this video is, it doesn't capture it like hearing it being played in the same room.

Find this guy playing live and treat yourself to the most memorable concert experience.

That is a "porchboard". It makes the sound of a bass "stomp". It's pretty cool actually, and it's actually tuned and in a certian key. Search the videos on here and you'll see how cool it really is....I want one!
