Etta James comes from the era of the civil rights movement. To show some real respect, the Obama inauguration should have asked Ms. James to sing that song, not Beyonce, a symbol of glam and pop. thats not cool etta you should be happy the somone like beyonce is singing your song i think you need to sit down and think you may not like her but you should be happy that somone like her is singing your old dam ass song because now more people want to hear your soong.

Right! Etta James should be happy somebody remembers her old ass. And For two cant say anything about that being her song when she got it from Glenn Miller the orignal artist (1942) of the song. So Etta is a hypocrite, thats not even her "song" Beyonce had every right to sing that song just like Etta....and Etta is mad because she is a has been and no one today knows her. Beyonce handled Etta's childish comments like a real adult!
