@8ruins0gone5 @8ruins0gone5 You would be disappointed if you got the extreme addition. All you really need to play your games on high is an i5. The fact that ASUS put an i7 at all is epic. If you really want an extreme i7 go to xoticpc.com and pick the ASUS you want and customize a lot.

@fuzzyrhino5 overclocking is increasing the clock speed of a chipset. it can be very dangerous so if you don't even know what "over clocking" is, I don't recommend you do it. But if you insist, then google hard and read every single sentence of an up-to-date tutorial on how to overclock. Goodluck

I have an asus g74sx-dh71 and i would like to know if there are better batteries for this laptop because it includes a very very small 5000mah battery. And to be honest this shit doesnt last it all! Whrn i full charge it and play a game like oblivion it last only 1.5 hours

@carlos30eduardo Yes, I'v seen mine at 2.9 once, but usually it runs clean at 2.8 without getting hot, to run games smooth you need to keep it at 2.8, because if it's at 2.0 the 3gb ddr5 graphics card with bottle neck because its quite cpu hungry when your using all the graphics, this laptop can play BF3 on max everything at 1080p without lag and without heating, totally recommended. Youtube other gaming laptops on that game, DO NOT GET THIS AT FUTURESHOP OR BESTBUY IT IS CRAP FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I love all your videos! I am planning on putting a ssd in as there is room for 2 HD's. What ssd will work the best in this notebook and how would I do it. Do I put the ssd in where the 500gb drive is and use the ssd as the boot drive and also is there anything I have to change in the bios before the ssd goes in. It plays great now but I would love to use the 500gb drive for the second. Any help anyone can give me would make me very grateful.

Your right dude I want one so bad. The G74sx-xn1 is what I want. Did that one have the gtx 560M? basically an overclocked 460m. Overclock the gtx560m to gtx470m speeds however the higher end gpus have 384 cuda cores and the gtx 460/560m have only 192 not bad if u ask me. Anyway what was that footage of gameplay at the end? @DjBassline96 raid 0 is when 2 hard drives or more are put together, the way it works is that the hard drives split the information up equally and both write the information at the same time, for example, if it took 2 min to go from on folder to another, it would take 1 min to go from 1 folder to another, or if they were 4 drives on raid 0 it would take 30 seconds :D hope it helped
