  • Higher intelligence = bad order followers, try to argue that from me? If you want good soldiers and workers in a society you need individuals that cannot do critical thinking. Noam Chomsky public ed. is propaganda system directed by elite carried out by administrators. Education will never improve you can count on that.

  • i think its easy to blame the system, most parents dont seem to realize that their childs education begins with them. maybe if more parents unplugged the tv and handed their children a book instead? and people stopped waiting for the government to make everything right. just a thought

  • the system is fucked up. bad administrators, bad fellow teachers, bad students. a politically correct atmosphere. it's all jacked. impossible to fire bad teachers. go look at all the teachers that were dismissed from the classroom, but couldn't be fired, so they show up to an empty room, surf the web and do hobbies while receiving a pay check. what the hell is that? bad college teachers who have tenure. but hey, not like this affects rich people.

  • Look, my mom was a teacher for 40 years, single mom. We weren't rich by any means, but we were solidly middle class. This idea that teachers make 'unliveable' wages is absurd.

  • It doesn't take long for a law to change in CO. Seems like they change every other week if you're in the MMJ industry. It took about 6 months for hb1284 to get written and passed into law. Just depends on who benefits from the law I guess...

  • America no longer creates educated people ,we import them with the H1-B genius visa.

  • This is the only thing that sorta gets me. Rogan is a big Ron Paul supporter, yet Paul would never lift a fucking finger to help those kids.

  • @seanmichaelloftus But who says we can't later? We as a people have to make sure they have a country to live in first. I know it sucks, I'm a student myself, but I'm more afraid that my parents are going to wake up, find out that there money is worthless, and my little brother and sister live a life of misery and lack of want. It's a balance.

  • Baltimore is totally a good example !

Ben Franklin middle school was the worst !

  • @alanomofo what happened there? My middle-school wasn't that bad my school was located in a suburb in Canada...how bad was it compared to your school?

  • I agree that some teachers are "bitter and cunty" had one of those recently in college. And he was hands down the worst teachers I've ever had. In college mind you, just wrong.

  • lol bitter and cunty

  • i just started listening to joe rogan's podcasts and i've gotta say the dude is pretty intelligent...he thinks rationally and addresses arguments logically and i appreciate that a lot.

  • @claysax199118 thing is though dude, we can all be like that. Be passionate about something, anything, and learn. Do your own research, push away the bullshit, and speak up when you think your confident about what you know. You have the internet, you have the ability to get books now online at a cheap cut price. Nothings holding you back :)

  • I don't really think most teachers deserve much credit at all. There will always be an exception to the rule but I've met about 3 teachers in my whole life that were genuine and cared. Those teachers honestly made you feel like you were going somewhere and you were excited about learning what they taught. Since grade school through college I've had probably more than 50 teachers.

  • I saw my education crumbling front if me and my teachers did what they could but their salary is making their very knees buckle.....

  • THERES NO LOVE! joe is the shit

  • One way to know how corrupt the system we live is would be to just look around and think... If you cant connect the dots your probably not really thinking critically .

Thinking you understand something and knowing of something is not understanding and knowing. I feel this is a common problem caused by weak and improper education. A person can spend their whole life thinking they are right refusing to be corrected but we are students for life and we all make mistakes.

  • is that ron paul rogan is talking to ?

  • Proper Education resources equals strong healthy independent people. Only retarded blind ignorant conformers give merit to this flint-stone education system.

What we have for education in this country is just enough to keep the populace quite and content. Its like hiring a group of employees to look out for every ones best interest and they turn around and use our own funding to be our bosses instead and then toss us some scraps knowing the starving will be grateful when it really isnt shit.

  • He's so right about the 3rd world education given here in American, they still try to teach that Spain came here and made freinds witth the natives. This is a JOKE>>>PARENTS need to raise and educate your own children but how can that be when the parents feed their children fake food. Father of all please help us, the sh-t is deep!!

  • This video is a great reason that we should eliminate state sponsored education altogether. If it werent for govt there would be no WAY to misallocate funds this badly.

  • Teachers salaries should be higher. If a family who attends that school is wealthy then they should willingly give to that school. The reason why schools and education a mess right now is because no one will take responsibility. You would rather hire bureaucrats to do your work for you.

  • It's the responsibility of the family or private funding to take care of these people. Taking money from people who are actually making a living and struggling is only going to bring more families down with them.

This whole thing is ridiculous. If all the rich people complaining about poverty would actual do something about it rather than giving it to charities which, at the end of the day, are capitalist organizations... Rich complaining about treatment of the poor is hypocrisy.

  • We spend way more on our military and privet corporations that help make new weapons then we do on anything else.We are far more advanced in military technology then anything.

  • Would rather get government out of education as much as possible.

  • Ya goddamn right

  • Once again, I think it's a fucking MISTAKE to allow the government to handle education. If the parents aren't involved, then most kids aren't going to learn much in this system anyway. Only the parents can decide how they want their kids to learn and grow, and if they don't get directly involved and fund it themselves, then it won't work.

  • I agree. Put money on education instead of on war and on war against drugs like marijuana. I definently think that teachers should make more. Also it should not be that expensive to go to college.

  • As a teacher, I'm done. This is my last year. Only the teachers know what goes on there. Don't say you know what goes on because you watched a documentary. The SYSTEM is messed up and the teachers are just trying to tread water because they have such a big heart and don't want to feel like they are giving up on the kids. What I have realized is that it's a system beyond my control and it's not worth my time and energy anymore. I am scared for the future of America.

  • @anurre5 I understand your feelings. I taught for four years and now I'm a teacher mentor, but miss the classroom everyday. How long have you been teaching? What grade levels do you teach?

  • @MrFloresFilm I've taught for 4 years as well. I teach high school math.

  • @anurre5 it's a good thing that teachers that talk about the size of an organ in their chest that provides for the transport of blood through their veins as their strong point are no longer in the classroom.

thank you for doing humanity a favor and not teaching any longer.

it's teachers like YOU that make ME fear for the future of america.

it's a good thing america is only 5% of the world's population and is losing super-power status. (also good: USD's PPP decline)

  • @AssistingHealth I will still keep learning and I will still keep teaching. It's a corrupt system and our children are the victims.

  • @anurre5 please listen to 2:55 for about 10 seconds

  • @AssistingHealth Do you (or Joe) have a basis for this accusation? You know, what's that word?...EVIDENCE.

I'm also curious as to why trolling gives you such enjoyment. Next time just pick up a prostitute.

  • @anurre5 because trolling serves a purpose. usually "trolls" mean to elicit strong, emotional responses... i am DEFINITELY looking to do that here. "pick up a prostitute" are you suggesting that i break the law? do you do this to the children that you teach as well? notice, i do not live in nevada. i REALLY hope you aren't suggesting that your students also break something that is within the US penal code (state/local/federal statutes and/or ordinances).

  • Comment removed

  • @anurre5 its not the kids fault its your generation of parents that raised those kids, your peers raised those kids. I know how bad and mean kids are, and its not their fauld, its the parents faults because they dont give their children good motives and a good view on life.

  • @anurre5 fuck teachers. biggest scum and cunts on the planet. fuck osama is more humane then fucking teachers. fuck you cunt, becuase in person thats how u could talk to me but i cant treturn the bullshit.

  • @anurre5 Yeah, the problem is that the curiculim ties teachers to a stale boring teaching method. I asked some friends of mine. "Try really hard to remember, what did you learn from high school, on the subject chemistry" and they couldnt remember anything. And so goes the other subjects too. Kid's aren't learning things they are just good at beeing fake. Doing the boring homework that they will forget the next week.

So much time is spent in school and so little is gained.

  • @anurre5 America is going to fall. Maybe not in our lifetime, but in time we will crumble. Greed has exceeded the well being of the people.

  • fuck i hate my childhood teacher. hope she crashes into an aids tree.

  • I think zeitgeist movement is the best chance

    watch this:

    /watch?v=EewGMBOB4Gg&feature=channel_video_title

    thumbs up if you agree

  • @Alec0124 lol believing in zeitgeist is believing in something that couldn't possibly exist

  • @lightsplease2 like germs before the 1800s, or quantum entanglement?

  • @Alec0124 lmao way to use a comparison that makes no sense. you're welcome to believe whatever you want man, but something must be wrong if you think a system like the one zeitgeist proposes could ever possibly become reality

  • @lightsplease2 In truth, the system that's proposed is the small part of the movement. The movement is about changing people's mode of thinking. The Reality is that we don't need money to accomplish deeds, just cooperation. And if we could work together instead of always competing and fighting then we could build a much more sustainable, more free, environment. The reality is that if the people don't learn to lead themselves and cooperate, we're going to destroy ourselves, the way a cancer does.

  • @Alec0124 I agree with you that people need to change their way of thinking. The problem I have with it is that every supporter of Zeitgeist seems to have different ideas regarding the movement's motives. Some people say we need to completely tear down society and rebuild it according to Jacque Fresco's vision in the Venus Project. Some say the main goal is the collective consciousness, and I've encountered people that have told me that the New Age Religion is what it's all about...

  • @Alec0124 ..The Zeitgeist Movement itself preaches a mixture of all of these things, but its supporters just take from it what appeals to them and ignore the rest, which is what I have a problem with. Their version of a 'perfect' society is simply not possible. Zeitgeist operates on the assumption of equality and fairness for all. Sorry to say, but that life isn't fair..

  • @lightsplease2 I don't think they're trying to make a perfect society. If you ask anyone that understands the movement they'll tell you it's not a utopia they advocate, but a move in the right direction. The current system we live in was handed down by our ancestors, and has slowly evolved over time. Meanwhile technology increases exponentially, and yet we maintain our wasteful ways. We need a cultural update. Which will happen eventually, but Zeitgeist Movement wants it to be done peacefully.

  • Make sense

  • Rogan for President

  • Just imagine people, just imagine if we had people in congress that smoked marijuana??? I would have to say that we probably wouldnt be in the mess we are in today....

  • @coopnutts no stupid...the people in power are living the good life marijuana would only make it worse....marijuana enhances pleasure

  • Holy crap man, Joe and I are on the same page. Im glad he knows whats up. People need to really, really pay attention to what he says, he has a lot of experience and he is amazing at describing it.

  • "it's not about getting welfare mothers money so they can keep shitting out kids" that's exactly what it's about; the government needs the offspring of these empty vessels to re-elect them. the world is being sold on Satanism and unfortunately decent people are outnumbered and out gunned, so i don't see anything changing any time soon.

  • I love you Joe, but i thought u said you didnt start smokin' weed until you were older? around 30? watch?v=Nr6cd44i_xI

How old were you when you lived in Boston?

  • where is the rest?!

  • What I dont get is why the state has a a crap load of potheads in jail costing 20-40k a year to house while some kids out there cannot afford college. As a nation we have our priorities all fucked up....locking up non-violent offenders in favour over educating our youth

  • @MTOTOwaNYAYO because the prison industry is privatized--which is a very scary thing--to maximize profit: maximize inmates, to maximize inmates: unreasonable laws--AND unreasonable penalties for those laws. Weed should obvious be legal--but what makes it even worse is that its prosecuted as though its an EXTREMELY bad act. Why is it all fucked up? Its what happens when you privatize shit thats not supposed to be privatized. Breaking the law today is really slippery slope.

  • @pawndominance1

    What?

The problem is the government intervention in our lives, not private industry which is in fact being destroyed by the corporatism in this country.

Prisons should be privatized and the gov has no right to make private property illegal.

The gov is inefficent and curropt, to legalize freedom, it would mean that there would not be no victim, no crimes.

No one has the right to make private property illegal.

The gov operates on coercion, it is unecessary.

  • @RyanR3volution the government is inefficient because of lobbying--the fact that 1 billionaire has more pull than 10 of millions of citizens. Prisons should not be privatized--and i explained why. How do you not see that the argument that they should be is non-sense? Don't you see why corporations are bad? Its very clear--they have only 1 thing to do: PROFIT, and thats it, nothing else. That is a bad thing--Government has no logical incentive to do anything immoral--unless profit comes in

  • @pawndominance1

The gov is inefficent because it does not follow the profit structure and instead if just a brute working for the corproations for the highest bigger.

Corporations are a government created entity, a special priviledge like welfare or IP law, should be done away with.

    ?

Government in it's roots is funded by the immoral extraction of wealth, that drives up prices and makes us all suffer.

Taxation is theft, there is no way to get around this.

  • @RyanR3volution ok well your clearly out of your mind, so i guess were done

  • @pawndominance1

    LOL ,

    you're just dishonest.

Again, have fun trying to name a government that did not turn on it's own citizens, crash and burn.

  • @pawndominance1

    LOL ,

    you're just dishonest.

Again, have fun trying to name a government that did not turn on it's own citizens, crash and burn.

  • @pawndominance1

  • @RyanR3volution i already called Bellevue

  • @MTOTOwaNYAYO Ron Paul my friend. Look him up.

  • @MTOTOwaNYAYO the DOC is a slave institution, they work the prisoners for well over the amount it costs to house them, not to mention the cash made by local and federal policing agencies, follow the money.

  • who is the other guy? i recognize his voice and i can see his face but his name isn't registering. he brings up great points.

didn't joe say that he didn't start smoking cannabis until he was an adult? so he just went with his friends to buy it but never smoked it? so what the fuck? joe doesn't realize, or at least it isn't shown in this clip, the US spends more money per pupil than other countries yet they outscore the US.

  • @amindbody The other guy is Bryan Callen, actor/comedian.

Good point! Those other countries also do not report the scores of all students because only the high performers go on to high education. More important, they also do not have the cultural diversity American classrooms have. In Finland, the classrooms are going to be composed of 99.9% Finnish while our classrooms are a combination of diverse ethnicities, religious backgrounds, etcetera.

  • @MrFloresFilm Agreed.

  • @amindbody THE OTHER GUY SOUNDS LIKE THAT JEWISH COMEDIAN FROM MAD TV

  • @amindbody i picked up bud with mates long before i started smoking man, its just fun and interesting when your a kid

  • @amindbody thtas bullshit yhe high school i went to didnt even have printer paper they couldnt affors that

  • @amindbody he used to smoke pot in high school just as another way to get fucked up. then he stopped for a while. eventually when he was an adult he started using it productively
