they are still active, I know Morrie was working and now they have two lives (without tetsu, like in 2006), now, tetsu was a support for the album, but I don't know if he is still working with Morrie I guess we have to wait and see...

The current lineup is Morrie, Sakura (drums / ZIGZO, L'Arc, etc), Hitoki (bass / Kuroyume & more), Hiro (guitar / La'Cryma Christi), Shinobu (guitar / Guy's Family). They're supposed to be coming out with another album... sometime. And Morrie's expressed interest in a North American tour for them. He said all this, though, before DEAD END decided to get back together, so I'm not sure what's going to happen with Creature Creature in the near future.

Maybe I just view Morrie as being 1000 times more interesting and talented than Tetsu, so I'm just a bit baffled at all this TetsuTetsuTetsu. I don't keep up with the current Japanese music scene, so I'm not too aware of everything this man has done.

Either way, it is still Morrie's solo project, Tetsu is just a support member, it is not "Tetsu's new band".

I beg to disagree with the last comment... Dead End were a great band, cant argue qith that. I love 80s rock as the next guy but if we compare the diversty of rithm styles, the compositional work odthe music and lyrics, and how many octaves can Hyde's voice reach(and how it projects better too), to me it just has no comparison. I can see a clear influence but I wouldn't call it copying... reminds me a lot of the Indie years of Lark and the style of Luna Sea. Its down to personal taste I guess.

I woudln't say laruku is any better or worse than these guys because musically laruku is a completly different band with a different sound. laruku is mostly bright and cheerful or a more warm and moving sound, while creature creature is mori and his sence of darkness and i wouldnt say horror but his personal own creepy sound that he likes and I

The funny thing about Creature Creature is that L'arc fans think that the big star in the band is Tetsu.

Morrie is the legend, Dead End influenced many artists like L'arc~en~ciel and Luna Sea. So sad they will never get recognized by japanese music fans.

i can help but to compare morrie with hyde.. there is something similiar between their voices. While morrie's voice is smoother(is that the word?) than hyde's voice, his voice lacks the variety that hyde's voice gave..

ah!! anyway, this is CC not l'arc.. must not compare!! i can't help but feel how displaced all the members, particularly morrie are behind the colourful backdrop.. tetsu is the only one that seems to blend in well.
