  • and get me a fez. hahahaha XD

  • The new episodes have been very good so far.

But after almost seven years since it's re-introduction, I'm still waiting for some of the other classic villaisn that haven't been shown yet.

    Omega, Sutek, the Valeyard.

Any one of these would do for me.

  • so... will there be a season 7. i'm not ready for doctor who to end, even if matt does

  • @13timmeh Yes they'll be a series 7... and series 8... and many more hopefully. There are no plans to finish it, yet.

  • HOW THE FUCK IS THAT GUY?????

  • End with a dark mystic shot of some monster thing that they showed a clear close-up of 14 sec ago

  • Whats 00:38 From? Its Not In Any Episodes It Is? =O

  • @Radocto that's what i thought... :)

  • @Radocto It was, but Steven Moffat thought it was too vulgar

  • when i grow up and have kids, the first film i'm gonna show them is Doctor Who

  • I've had series six(that's what the British call it.)on blue ray for months!Anyways, your awesome doctor who.

  • fuck yeah AMERICA!

  • 0:13 all i heard was 12 jammy dodgers and a fez.

  • great series and the next will be even better!

  • @sabbathdei What lunatic would kill themselves because they don't like a TV show?

  • netflix doesnt have season 6 and BBCA never plays it! D_X

    fml

  • @13timmeh fastpasstv and watchseries have it for now, im sure it wont be up for long

  • Cheater River at 39 seconds was never in the series trust me i've seen the whole thing about 5 times

  • I was doing open day today and my friend walked in. insteasd of talking about the school and what it has to offer-we talked about doctor who. Am i irresponsible.

  • FFFF if netflix doesn't hurry, I'm going up on the internet and finding it myself. My body can't wait after that beautiful ending for season 5.

  • i really didn't like the end.

*SPOILERS* how he survived by going inside a "doctor suite". it was a fixed point in time that the doctor had to die on that date and at that place. you can't just put a robot there and say its the same thing.

in my opinion they could have done it much better.

  • @platepluscup123 No. It was always the Robot doctor dying there. What was fixed was that the Silence thought the Doctor died there.

There was never a question of if the Doctor was going to survive. It was a question of how.

  • @TheEuphBeast thanks man. i think i'll watch the episode again now.

  • just started watching the series on netflix and now hooked to it. also what month did season 6 come out in 2011?

  • @dungeonmaster16 April :) Ended in October..

  • *Facepalm* oh Netflix... you bastards

  • HURRY UP NETFLIX!!!!

  • 0:39 I seriously hope she was in a tube-top!

  • Yeah, the bit with River and the bit with the nazi's most likely have dissapeared in the 'Deleted Scenes' void..

  • A MI RODRIGITO LE GUSTA ESTE CARTONE

  • Ok i've seen season 6 every episode can anyone tell me when season 7 is coming? btw: im in america! :)

  • haha i lovee this show to death haha, watch my videos???:D

  • or the 3 nazis at the start??

  • i dont remeber the bit where river has no clothes on this seires???

  • mute this trailer and in another tab or window play two steps from hell love and loss and play them both it goes so well with this trailer!

  • @TheSpookypeople

It should be its actual theme i think

  • yay epic christmas present :D

  • hi guys. i've always heard about doctor who and have always meant to start watching, but have no idea where i should begin. do i have to begin right at series 1? from what i understand, tennant was arguably the most popular doctor to most fans, so i'm wondering if i should start there. thanks for any suggestions!

  • @trexgoesmoo A good place to start is the reboot in 2005 (normally called series 1). Tennant took over in series 2 so starting with him wouldn't make much difference but you might be confused by some of the references to the previous series.

  • @eateroftheflame Thanks for the info. Although I heard somewhere that an episode titled "Blink" might be a good way for me to start and get hooked, then start from the beginning. Is that a good idea?

  • @trexgoesmoo Yeah, that's one of the best episodes

  • @Matt99Bio Read. The. Description.

  • @911chez No copyright infringement intended. *facepalm*

  • @Matt99Bio "Copyright to BBC No infringement intended" = That's fine. Chill out dude, if the BBC was clearly that upset over the matter it would of been removed a while back. Jeeez.

  • @Matt99Bio Yeah I don't think you read the description did you Matt? Thanks again!

  • @Matt99Bio Dumbass.

  • i am so glad he will be playing doctor who again i mean actually today i saw the 1st episode of the series and i fucking love doctor who now

  • "...and a fez." He looks so happy. xD

  • dr who in AMERICA???

  • omg i love this serie, i m just done with all 6 series and this is the most brilliant and best serie i ever seen!!!

i mean i seen alot of series and i love them and i mean alot, ca 30... more or less.

and now when am done i have an overfloud of love to the serie and it is truly the best serie i ever seen :D <3<3<3

  • @missvampiresweet You do realise that Doctor Who has 32 series don't you?

  • @Yetaxa

yeah... but the other ones is a hole other generation, so this is the good one and therefor do i only count the newest 6 series :)

  • Im sorry to let the doctor know...we dont have jammy dodgers in america.

  • @cubuscus What no jammy dodgers said the doctor. lol

  • In that epic British accent. "I wear a stetson now. Stetsons are cool."

Gotta tell ya. The Doctor has some pretty awesome lines.

  • I havent seen any episode of doctor who.. maybe i should.. hmm

  • @TheiLame i strongly suggest you do so! i just got into it a month ago and I'm such a fan now. Real quality stuff

  • @Zinferbuddy how many episodes does it have :O

  • @TheiLame almost 800 now... over 650 of which are only 25 minutes long. The rest are 45 minutes

  • doctor who is cool

  • doctor who is the best thing iv ever watched

    whos with me

  • @RazModz To be honest with you i was sick of the doctor moning about being alone(David Tennant). Matt Smith is a little bit better because he can take being alone. i just saying.

  • I've the impression that this season goes to be less well than the others :/, The white house has been seen and the NAZIS too (it's maybe a good idea, to make some episodes with the NAZIS), I have the impression that this season goes to be than the season 3 of torchwood, a "big" episode cuted in many little episodes of 40minutes, If we see the white house, to me it's significate that some american fim productions go to film with the english, Drwho is going to loose its Charisma...

  • The Song is Tristan by Two Steps from Hell :)

  • @curt405 Why do you give a fuck about whether they show gay scenes or not? How is that shit offensive? And I took a shit last night and used the bible to wipe my arse.

  • lol this series absolutely sucked i had no idea about what was going on! badly directed crap! the other series used to be sooooo good! and now they just SUCK

  • @triggerdance no it did not suck.

  • @Jammydodgereater oh come on! you got to be a total thicko not to know that this series sucked! the was no plot! no clever querks like all the other ones. they were boring corny rubbish

  • @triggerdance But you've got to admit that there was some amazing episodes ie: The doctors wife, The god complex, The girl who waited. It didn't all suck

  • @Jammydodgereater oh yeah actually that doctoers wife one was good. only because that idiot stephen moffat or whatever didnt write the script. it was the famous authr neil gaiman. but the bbc production office have been very short sighted through this series

  • @triggerdance Well said!

  • @Stevo15101960 thankyou! XD

  • I LOVE DOCTOR WHO!!!!

  • My brother LOVES this show : D He doesn't stop talking about it!

  • I wear a stetson now, stetsons are cool!

    <3

Deleted scenes are cool too, why get rid of em?

  • I think all the people complaining about doctor who being too complicated are entitled to their own opinion, but the fact is that the story arcs actually improve the plot and force people to think while watching, instead of vegitating in front of the screen. If you pay attention and watch, you'll find that everything is perfectly planned and falls neatly into place.

  • Doctor who sort of now sucks. It used to be cold hard sci fi but now its showing some of the qualities that stupid shows have. It's just not neccesary.

  • @maitlandbowl Thankyou!!!! So I am NOT the only one....!

  • I think the 11th Doctor has actually revitalized the action in Doctor Who, that action you remembered from the 9th Doctor, and the classic Doctor Who series. Even though the 10th Doctor was awesome, the action felt like it was gone or something. Then the 11th Doctor came, and then that spark of action-packed adventures came back! :D

  • Anyone else notice the Slenderman in the last clip?

  • @femoman Gah! Don't scare me like that. Looks like it's just one of the Silence, but still... Damn creepy Slenderman... If you'll excuse me, I need to go cleanse my brain with ponies....

  • The finale was so epic! I loved it!

  • bloody hell, the ending of the season was so funny

  • I don’t know if you noticed but on Saturday night there were a few hints of Rose perhaps returning. The news story saying ‘Roses’ and secondly Dickens’ talking about the series 1 episode with Rose! The Doctor also says “It’s all still going on for me… I could help Rose Tyler with her homework!”

  • Can u believe it?! I remember being tortured by the BBC because I had to wait for

    "The Impossible Astronaut" !!!

Now we're waiting for the Christmas special & another Doctor Who prom!

Wow time does go by....I think..........=)

  • 0:05 - 0:06 We see what appears to be Nazi Soldiers...

But we didn't see this scene in Series 6...AT ALL!

Where does this scene come from? I presume it was deleted and never made it into the broadcast as televised. I'm interested to know what that scene was all about, as it seemed all quite sinister and had a conforntational 'We've found you out' feel to it.

  • @harryhillstvfart The Nazi scene was taken from a deleted scene in which, in the Impossible Astronaut when the Doctor was waving to Amy + Rory through time, he was found by the Nazi's. It was deleted. As was the Naked River moment, which was a scene where she was being inspected about her previous escapes in the Impossible Astronaut again. All clips that were deleted were obviously for time reasons and it was mentioned in the new Doctor Who Companion volume 3 ;D

  • @harryhillstvfart i felt the same way too!

  • There is something VERY misguided about this particular series. The production was well & truly 'over egged' in every dept! I was glad to see the back of it last night-something I'd never thought I'd say a year or so ago..

Why can't they just get back to good story telling? Fuck this elaborate twaddle.

  • @thelittlebombardier Totally agree! The scripts are shit and the acting is appalling! It seems to me that the Doctor's character is becoming so arrogant that it is so easy now to dislike him...I blame Steven Moffat, he is after all the current executive producer.

  • @Stevo15101960 Firstly, you can't just blame Steven Moffat about your opinion of a shit series. Steven Moffat wrote only some of the episodes, not all. Secondly, Steven was extremely clever creating the whole life story of River Song, something that I bet you still don't even understand. Regarding to the acting, the producers of Doctor Who wouldn't of gave Matt Smith the job if he wasn't a good actor; being an actor is a difficult job, something that I bet you don't know about either. So Shut up

  • @TheCRChannel LOL Wow! You really are a child, aren't you? I, like anybody in this so-called free country, am entitled to my opinion, just as you are entitled to yours (no matter how wrong you might be). As for your comment about Matt Smith, we will simply have to agree to differ...I think he is a shit actor, and also he is quiet hideous-looking. And I DO blame Steven Moffat, even as you do not...you need to grow up (a lot).

  • @Stevo15101960 Can you amplify the details of the word 'Wrong'. Matt Smith is worth Millions of pounds anyway because of his acting, and I don't see you getting noticed in the world. I'm an adult with a remarkable education from Oxford Uni. Now I do take into consideration that it's your opinion, but within the sentence that you've just wrote, you've contradicted yourself in a hyperaesthetic way. "(no matter how 'WRONG' you might be)" - Now I thought you said it my opinion? BTW, spell correctly!

  • @TheCRChannel LOL

For your information I too have a university education (Cambridge) but do not feel the need as you seem to do to bring that into the argument (it's Dr Who, you stupid twat...GET A GRIP!!!). As for being hyperaesthetic (desiring, needing, and delighting in superiority; and from fearing, and being distressed by, inferiority) I would say that you meet that criteria very nicely....after all, it was you who attacked my opinions whereas I am merely fighting back...

  • @TheCRChannel ....also, as for Matt Smith being worth millions of pounds, who cares? That doesn't make him a good actor. It just means that the BBC are prepared, for reasons of their own, to pay him vast sums of money...I wouldn't have chosen him when there are so many far-more talented actors around, and far better looking too....well, they would be wouldn't they? They don't come much uglier than Matt Smith...lol

  • @Stevo15101960 One thing Moffat is guilty of is being divisive. The fact that he's got dedicated fans of this show at each others throat. Ditching the Daleks? Why? One of the most iconic aliens in sci-fi, not to mention mega when it comes to viewing figures. The coy turnaround recently about their return. Publicity? Does he really need the headlines? Or is it just his ego?

RTD didn't piss around the fans of Doctor Who because he was a fan himself.

  • @missmarypickford I am inclined to agree. And I take your point about fans being at each others throats...but I stand by what I have said. It is just my opinion, nobody needs to share it, or agree. And whilst I may not share other people's view, it does not mean I do not appreciate their point...that is what they think, this is what I think. I just find it annoying that people get angry when other people express their opinion...they are entitled to speak up if they feel strongly enough...

  • @missmarypickford And don't get me started about the Daleks, lol....I, like many other fans, was horrified when SM decided to introduce a new look and I know it polarised opinion amongst the fans (although it seemed to me that the majority wanted the traditional look back, me being one of them)...as for Moffat's silly justification that they are always defeated by the Doctor, so what? So are all the 'monsters' he comes across in one way or another...will he do something similar to the Cybermen?

  • @Stevo15101960 I agree with you about the new look of the Daleks...I'm not a big fan. But the design and color of the Daleks and Cybermen changed quite a bit throughout the Classic Series. Why should the new series be any different?

I, for one, am glad the Daleks are being given a break. RTD used them too much and they lost their luster. It's like getting a birthday cake every day. If you do, the one on your actual birthday has less meaning. That's how I feel about the Daleks.

  • @duke1425 Tell the truth I agree...what I found was that the storylines were rather simplistic and prone to anticlimax (Evolution of the Daleks is a case in point, started off promisingly enough and then suddenly went downhill)...I would rather see them less but with a great script attached. I love the Daleks, always have but the writers need to be more creative. I thought Doomsday was one of the best adventures since Dr Who started again in 2005...

  • @Stevo15101960 That's a good way of saying it. You hit the nail on the head. It's almost as if writers think that because it's the Daleks, and they're popular, they don't need to produce a great script, or maybe it's coincidence. At least Moffat was trying to do something new with them, though I didn't care for it. Similar to, IMO, the best Dalek script all time "Genesis of the Daleks" (introducinging Davros). Of course, then he was overused. I think the cybermen have been poorly served too.

  • @duke1425 In my opnion both the Daleks and the Cybermen have not been served very well outside of the 60s.

  • @Yetaxa I agree with you about the Cybermen for sure. In fact, give me a Cybermen story from any time period that is really THAT good. Maybe "Invasion" or "Earthshock"? Sad considering how great the concept is. As for the Daleks, for me, it's a mixed bag. Love The Daleks, DIOE, Day of the Daleks, Genesis, Revalation, Dalek. Dislike: Masterplan, Power, Evil (minority opinion for sure), Planet, Desinty, Ressurection, any New Series Dalek story other than "Dalek". Lukewarm for the rest.

  • @duke1425 They have indeed! Again, no really good storylines...I would like to see the return of the Ice Warriors (I cannot understand why they have been excluded). Yes, the GOTD script was excellent, and if produced now would have the further advantage of a decent special-effects budget which was seriously lacking in the 1970s...the only issue I had with it was it contradicted the original Dalek history, that they were mutations forced to live in protective machines, rather than a 'creation'...

  • @Stevo15101960 Amen on the Ice Warriors. Strange choice bringing back the Silurians(poorly realized) before the Ice Warriors. I agree about GOTD contradicting the original history but since they were both written by Nation, I actually like the change better, and one can reconcile the 2 histories with a bit of "fan thinking" I'm OK with it. I'm not a huge Big Finish fan anymore but have you listened to "I, Davros"? One of the best things they have done and it ties both histories together.

  • @duke1425 No, I haven't but I will definitely check it out...thanks for that. And you are right about the differences between The Dead Planet and Genesis of the Daleks just requiring a bit of 'fan thinking'... :-) ....I will let you know how I go on with I, Davros...

  • @duke1425 I have managed to find and watch Big Finish: Dalek Empire which was really excellent! I have not found I, Davros on here but found where to purchase it, and there appears to be four parts...

  • @Stevo15101960 Yes, there is 4 parts. If you find yourself not liking the first part, give the rest a chance as I think the 1st is the weakest...although I still liked it. The 4 part leads directly to Genesis of the Daleks...with the same guy (Peter Miles) playing Nyder.

  • @duke1425 I will check it out...I have managed to find partial excerpts on here but will look into obtaining them (might try the local library first)...

  • @Stevo15101960 If you don't have any luck and you want to purchase them, I have a couple of websites I can forward you where I get my Doctor Who stuff.

  • @Stevo15101960 Cheers mate, I appreciate that...

  • @missmarypickford I totally disagree about RTD. He was just as "egotistical" as Moffat and was just as willing to "piss around the fans". He's often said that he didn't care what the "fans" had to say and him having the Doctor kiss every female he could get his hands on is very unpopular for many Classic Series fans. Besides, RTD wrote an entire episode (Love and Monsters) which was basically just one big insult directed at Doctor Who fans. That's what he really things about the fans.

  • @curt405 Gay grooming -on Dr Who-what a hoot!!! Being gay myself though must admit I cringe whenever the writers crow bar in gay stuff. Actually the writing stinks full stop this season. Can't remember a more boring run of episodes in a series. last week for instance-why did they bother bringing back the Cybermen-only to have the doctor & Smithy goofing around for most of it????????

  • @thelittlebombardier Again, I totally agree with you and I thought exactly the same thing about the Cybermen episode, there seemed to be no point to it, it just didn't go anywhere. I often wonder if they will bring back the Ice Warriors (remember them?)...

  • @Stevo15101960 The Ice warriors were amazing.-but I dread to think how Moffat & co would fuck it up. They seem to be incapable of good old fashioned story telling..

  • @missmarypickford You are probably right about that...

  • The series where absolutely NOTHING makes ANY fucking sense

  • @SinDawg030 Really? 'coz I watched the last episode of the series with my nephew last night and he caught on just fine. And so did I... and my friends... and their friends, and of course those who gave it a good AI score, and not forgetting the critics who are all keeping up just. fucking. fine.

  • @MrFitzonic Its relys on 90mph technobabble, wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff and miraculous solutions whereas before it was a completely new adventure every week or two. I don't like how The Silence arc is carrying on throughout the entire series from the end of Series 5. Before, it was something new every week with a hint about what is coming at the end of the series like "Bad Wolf" or Mr Saxon. Stretching the story out throughout an entire series is pretty disconcerting and not very engaging.

  • @SinDawg030 Em, yes it is engaging. I was on the edge of my seat for when the cracks were being revealed last year. Anyway, so you're complaining about 90mph technobabble for THIS series. Clearly you've never watched "Journey's End", an orgy of Deus Ex Machina cumming on Pseudo science. And don't get me started on End of Time. Yes, Moffat-Who does have plot devices, but he handles them so much better than RTD.

  • @SinDawg030 This is the 21st century audience. Moffat can't allow people to simply tune in and out at whatever week he chooses. He has to go "Right, you lot. This is gonna be complicated, but if you pay attention and just THINK, it'll make sense. So get out now if you're too scared". We can't have episodic series' anymore. This is the direction the show has taken and I love how off-guard it caught me. Yes, we have stand-alone episodes, but even they tie-in somehow to the Big Bad.

  • @MrFitzonic Even The Big Bang made complete sense if you just took the time to think of it all.

  • @MrFitzonic I love a good brain teaser just as much as any other Doctor Who fan & mystery is always fun when it is solved but Moffat, Moffat is just piling mysteries on top of enigmas, buried in a pile of WTF moments. Not that he is a bad writer, its just that his finales aren't fully satisfying, they just make my brain hurt. Blink for example was one of the best episodes I have seen and it scared the ever loving shit out of me. Who just isn't like that any more somehow. Its difficult to explain

  • @SinDawg030 If by "It's difficult to explain" you mean you can't really put down in words how you feel about the show, then I'd agree. Anyway, I do love this show more than ever and how it's never really been afraid to go places RTD dared not to travel in fear of alienating fans. Now Moffat has done it, and look what happened XD

  • @MrFitzonic A better word would be ineffable. I feel that the show is becoming less a weekly adventure with a different theme for each series (Bad Wolf, Torchwood, Saxon, Returning and Cracks) and more of a one big convulted plot with events leading up to a foregone conclusion (Doctor dying in S6E01). Obviously the format is working for some as Moffat isn't going out of business but I guess I'm a grouchy old fart clinging to the past. Series 5 was good but the Silence arc should have ended there

  • 0.06 hasnt happend yet

  • is this out yet

  • don't get me wrong, I love doctor who!, but this series.....umm.... I know lots of people love it, and I understand that they are trying to incorporate some aspects of the original episodes into this new 11th Doctor.. but i found its lost its appeal. It feels like the doctors been going to die in every series, the fancy camera work is getting a little annoying, some episodes just dont make sense and feel as if they're just looking for something to scare children. and the characters annoy me :(

  • @curt405 Lol gay grooming. Grow the fuck up and stop living in the past. Gay people MAY find that comment offensive (like me, for instance).

  • I'm going to need a SWAT team ready to mobilize, street level maps covering all of Florida, a pot of coffee, twelve jammy dodgers, and a fez.

  • The Doctor not going to died in season 6 final lol

  • @jman19mwi obviously!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jman19mwi Really? I thought he was going to die in Episode 13, not regenerate, and then there somehow be a Christmas special and Series 7 -_-

  • @curt405 First off, Doctor who is not children's TV. It is made for all ages in mind. Sarah Jane Adventures is children's TV. Torchwood is adult. Doctor who is that happy middle ground.

IMO, I applaud doctor who for not conforming to the idea that being gay is unacceptable for TV. Its 2011 mate. We teach kids to accept everyone despite their race, color or religion. Why should sexuality be the acceptation?

  • @curt405 Guess what, we also have heterosexual kisses and heterosexual bit parts. Would you prefer it if the writers pretended that gay people didn't exist?

  • OMG THAT'S THE COWBOY HAT JAMES CORDON GAVE TO HIM!

  • @curt405 Yes, you are.

  • @curt405 Yes, showing gays as normal people with normal lives is "gay grooming." Get the fuck over yourself.

  • 3011 :D

  • @AH3D001 The River naked scene at 0:38 and the Nazi's at 0:04 have been confirmed as a DELETED SCENES! So you will NOT see them. They were originally in The Impossible Astronaut as The Doctor Who Companion volume 3 confirmed!! :P

  • @AH3D001 The River naked scene at 0:38 and the Nazi's at 0:04 have been confirmed as a DELETED SCENES! So you will NOT see them. They were originally in The Impossible Astronaut as The Doctor Who Companion volume 3 confirmed!! :P

  • the last part freaked me out

  • ooooooow i love river//11 they are so cuuuute <3

  • So far Matt the best for me

  • @Mookydoodle Fair call Mooky. Maybe its a male-female perspective. While some of the recent series episodes have had excellent plots, I just liked the older Doctors who were a little more hard nosed about their work and their was less emotion involved as the importance of the job at hand trancended relationships. You need to be hard to sacrifice an entire race to save many millions of others. Old Dr series (when I was a kid) used to really scare me and I loved it.

  • There were Natzi in this tralier but they weren't in let's kill hitler

  • one of the most epic sci-fi series in history after you se all the 5 series you`l think star wars is a joke

  • just my 2 bobs worth. I think the problem is less with the choice of Doctors than it with the writers. Dr Who used to be more true sci fi adventure with horror themes, now its a drama that never gets away from the "lonely"Doctor and the focus on relationships. Many episodes are way over dramatised for ratings and veer too much of the classic Dr themes of science and stuff that makes a young person scared. Bigger budgets and effects have only visually improved things, not the writing of script

  • What song is that?

  • I hope the doctor doesn't die. That would mean he would never get ginger hair! Oh, the horror!

  • wait when the doctor died where did his tardis go is it just siting there in the desert in amarica gathering dust?

  • @MultiColt LETS GO FIND IT.

  • @dandelionsex Ginger hair

  • Hm, did I see Cthulhu for a moment there?..

  • I know this is never going to happen. Well, I dunno...maybe it could but I'd love to see 9th, 10th, and 11th Doctors together. Like, the 9th before he meets Rose, the parallel universe 10th (or the original, as long as the story works) and the 11th. I like all 3 personally, but 10 is definitely MY doctor. This season looks awesome but I wish they'd take the romancey part out of it.

  • So Doctor Who's low overnights, yet still very high final ratings are absolutely normal. If RTD was still in charge the same would be happening. Both showrunners are great. Both wrote/write fantastic stories. Disliking the show just because it is different is silly, as that's what Doctor Who is about, change. It wouldn't be here today if it didn't continue to change and re-invent itself. You may not like the current formula, but in a few years it'll change again, and you may get back into it. :]

  • Comment removed

  • Using the ratings to claim the show is less liked now than before is pointless.. The overall ratings for series 2 was 7.7 million. Right now the average for series 6 is over 10 milliion. The truth is Doctor Who's ratings are all over the shop, and TV habits are changing. More and more people are using Iplayer and recording shows to watch at later times. Methods that didn't exist back in 2005. The Impossible Astronaut got the highest ratings in the history of iplayer. DW is doing very well atm.

  • I don't understand people who make up things just to bash the show. I've been reading some comments about low ratings and people universally disliking the new series, when really it's quite the opposite. This series ratings are the some of the highest since the show returned in 2005. It's doing just as well, if not better than the last few series. The majority are loving it, as seen by constantly high AIs. I think it's alright to critisise the show, but don't be a jerk about it. o_O
