  • This is so interesting for me since I underwent heart bypass surgery in2002 and still doing pretty good at 70 years age even though I had chest incision infection and had to have sternum debriedment surgery and spend another 4 weeks in hosp[ital for that nasty problem. I keep on the heart healthy diet and exercise, mopstly walking and play baseball and some basketball. Thanks for posting this helpful video.

  • this made me laugh so hard i played it over and over 2:24

  • Aw man, not what I wanted to see when I hit that stumble button..

  • nobody dislikes heart surgery!

  • The mind reels. My brain still insists that when you cut into someone's heart they are supposed to die. How is is possible to do this? I understand in my mind but it's still amazing. We are living in the future people!

  • @RunicVersion244 Thats what I said when I think about the heart bypass surgery I had.

  • damn.

  • It seriously frustrates me when people call this "A Miricle of god".

  • @Nilak90 I couldn't agree with you more.

  • So interesting

  • I would definitely trust this guy with my life. His hands are so fucking steady!

  • @dPhazeGamingPS3 While that's true, I'd want him concentrating and not thinking of all those words while he does it :)

  • something for me to poop on!!

  • Science FTW

  • Imagine if you woke up during the surgery....

  • problems with blood vessels after by-pass surgery

  • r Only few accomplish such highltraining which neds not only hard work but better part of your precuious life span u r own life living like a hermit for you patient always oncall no time for family relaxation as much as other people like him inother profession Medical study is veery expensive requires intelligence scholorship supporting and undertanding spouse children & family .Its one in mllion such exceptional human being with right combinartion of talents as mentioned come together in a dr.

  • I had a triple by pass in October in Britol UK, the surgeons there are taught how to do this operation with out stopping the heart, so there is no memory loss and your recovery is quicker and less complicated, at the Bristol hopsital they trialing the used of your own bone marrow (stem cell) to help new muscle to grow, where muscles have been damaged during the heart attack.

    Its all good stuff.

  • thank u so much sir 4 uploading dis....

  • Very helpful to see this cause my Dad went in for a quadruple bypass today 10/15.

  • I had this done about 7 yrs ago

  • Since his heart was stopped was he dead for some time.

  • @nukeurhouse12 Your not really dead your brain has to die as well for you to be completely dead. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I have no idea my friends Aunt heart stopped for a while and she technically still alive.

  • @shutupjonae69 that is dangerous when not in surgery, but if it was for a very short amount of time, i think you can live though that, as long as the heart is started again

  • @bioshockgril Yeah I thought so.

  • I had a quadruple bypass just a few weeks ago. I'm still recovering.

I can't watch video's like this just yet.

I had to stop this at 13 seconds.

It makes me feel sore and dizzy to see what they did to me. It doesn't seem real, it doesn't seem that I should still be alive after going through that.

I do feel healthier tho, I use to feel my heart beat fast and hard, now it can't beat fast or hard.

  • awesome

  • I had quadruple bypass surgery earlier this year and I feel great! This video certainly brings home the gravity of such a surgery and the reinforces the importance of taking care of ones' self. There were some new revelation on this video that I didn't realize.....

As an amatuer videographer, I really appreciate the person(s) who put this video together. VERY WELL DONE!!!!

  • Dr I was wondering about your thoughts regarding using IVUS rather then traditional techniques to assessing CAD? An excellent vedio and exceptional teaching! from a lover of cardiology!

  • I'm sorry, but I'm a producer/director not a physician, so I can't advise you on this...

  • wonderful work.., it was very to learning,, bypass sugery..,
