Poway California's Volunteer-Run Food Bank Garden

I also live in Poway and helped the kids in our apartment complex contact Victory Gardens San Diego to come build two raised garden beds for them to learn and have a healthy activity. Sadly a year and a half later it is all dried up, we didn't have enough volunteer/parents to help. I plan to try again soon but it is really hard doing it by myself. Any advice?
