  • Although I agree with everything being said on principle, Chiropractors are nothing but witch doctors, if/when you get hurt/killed by one of their "adjustments", good thing, one less low life retarded shit wasting my oxygen that hopefully didn't have the time to reproduce..

  • Chiropractic is on the cusp of full utilization...awesome!

  • Thank you for this video, I have been telling people for years about this. People put too much trust in doctors. Yes they are very educated, but they don't know everything, they just know more than the average person. But the average person can know just as much as a doctor if they DO THEIR OWN RESEARCH.

  • Six Doctors are bitter about this video.

  • Yeah Yeah don't listen to doctors, just die instead.

  • @ApathetSyndrome "Yeah don't listen to the doctor, just die instead"...or get killed by the doctor? Chiropractic first, drugs second, surgery last.

  • Beside lawyers, journos and politicians, doctors are the worst liars-for-money I've experienced. Worse, their lies can kill you.

  • @ccd101 And lawyers free criminals for money.

  • This is sound advice. Someone I know was told by his "eminent" specialist he should have his thyroid removed. He checked out several sources and realised he had other options eventually keeping his thyroid and using nutrition & herbs to help his situation. It worked.

  • While I agree with you 100% on principle, I have to disagree 100% regarding Chiropractors, I would much rather take advice from a voodoo witch doctor than ever see a Chiropractor... You only need an >L> shaped counter-top and a minimum of upper-body strength to pull yourself up with your arm and relief ALL gravity related pressure from your whole spine.

    Don<t believe me?

Just try it, you will most likely be amazed by the results.

  • @toulouse666 Nah! I'd trust the more educated chiropractic doctor (5200 classroom hours) than the medical doctor (4600 classroom hours).

  • the pharmacist tells me as your doctor really

  • dr never told i would have a reaction by stopping xanax abruply

  • good advice

  • I believe in natural chinese medicine. The best doctor is my body! :)

  • common sense! 5stars

    period!!

  • I agree with this functional medical doctor. For example I had 2 bad injured knees that couldn´t heel with physiotherapy for 3 years! So they suggested arthroscopic surgery plus rehab after that. I did my research and found a prolotherapy practitioner, needed only 2 sessions and I also used some not expensive supplements to support the repair of my ligaments and tendons and promote colagen production. I spent 1/10th or less money if I had done surgery and recovery was instant!

  • thanks

  • I like open and honest doctors. But, why don't they give out info of the pros and cons of vaccinations. What are the chances of getting polio or small pox and do the vaccinations really help or do they comprimise the health of the patient. This is important. We are taught to believe raw milk will hurt us, but people drink it without injury. I chose to be the grand inquisitor. I'd rather say, no, than take a chance, unless it was life threatening.

  • If you bring up a problem with prescription drugs to your doctor they may get an attitude, they'll try to comfort you and re-sell you, but if you don't just go along they will look down on you in one way or the other.

In general doctors make their real money from prescription companies..... if they give you a prescription and you take it for 10 years your doctor keeps making money off of it, that prescription is in their name.... kinda like an official kickback.

  • Congrats againstthewind, that is the dumbest thing I have heard all day. There is absolutely no truth in your last paragraph.

  • Damn right! docs don't have informed me about the side effects of my meds; and have had a few bad times thanx to that; so i now have to check out and enquire about the effects by myself cuz i don't get that from the doc, generally

  • Gracias, YOU RIGHT!!!

  • tnx 4 the vid. it took me 5 doctors before i found the solution for my knee. i broke my shin & the leg healed shorter putting pressure on my left knee. solution: sole inserts in my shoes. (about 200 euros) 3 months later i was healed after 3 years of misery. listen with both ears

  • I learned this the hard way. I was prescribed a form of tetracycline for my acne and ended up with tinnitus. It took me over a year to get used to it, and now I have super sensitive hearing so that anything slightly loud causes me excruciating pain. I also cannot pay attention to two different auditory stimuli at once, so if someone begins talking while I am trying to listen to something else, the two sounds interfere with each other and I cannot comprehend either.

  • However, this side effect is rare, so I would not have expected it even if I had looked into the side effects, but afterwards I found several websites with stories from people who experianced the same thing. None of them have recovered, and many of them are much worse off than I.

  • I wish all people wach this video!

  • This is very good advice. Thank you.

  • Yes" hotdog fingers" is a terrible side effect!

    (:-(),

  • You have to listen to your doctors, though...I learned the hard way when I decided what I was going to do for a medical problem by reading online, and then calling the pharmacist. The pharmacist and the 'net left off the other medicine that was to be taken with the one we decided on. Without the combination, I made myself sicker. I called the doctor, but it was too late, and I had to go to the hospital, and I spent $1500+ in medical bills and miserable tests... Don't make same mistake.

  • Doctors with 30 years experience know more than most patients. They have often been prescribing certain drugs for decades! Not every doctor is in a hurry. Just find an experienced doctor that takes time to really talk to you. Most doctors are much more experienced and intelligent than the average American, who will cause harm to themselves . It is good to get second opinions from other TRAINED PROFESSIONALS (pharms, docs),but do NOT "doctor yourself" from Internet messageboards. That's dangerous.

  • Thank you so much for presenting the truth to people. You are truly a good person that cares for others.

Even before watching this video, I have questioned many practices of doctors in prescribing medicines.

My father has heart problems and the doctor prescribed him an SSRI that has nothing to do with the problem. I have noticed his personality change over the past four years he has been on this drug. I am now in the process of convincing him to confront the doctor while in my presence.

  • Thank you for making this video.

Doctors are just people, and people make mistakes. A lot of people are taking drugs for being unhappy, and they end up chemically unbalanced and more unhappy.

Just stop and think. Doctors can help but who knows your condition better than you do? They might understand some technical parts that you don't, but you know much more about what's going on in your life.

Thanks to the doctors, and thanks to the independant thinkers.

  • The body will heal itself if you treat it right.

Go vegan: but do your homework and do it intelligently.

I never go to the dr. I don't take any meds.

I haven't even taken as aspirin in about 16 years. Stop playing games with your health people.

  • Top three leading causes of death in the US:

    1. Heart disease

    2. Cancer

    3. Doctors

    no lie.

  • I don't think people die from cancer itself more from chemotherapy.

  • You're right. I should have said, "top three ADMITTED causes of death." That's admitted by the AMA.

  • A friend of mine is a Medical Doctor that always let me know from day one to never trust doctors. Surgeons are great people and the mechanics of the physical body, their help is highly appreciated. Your intake will determine almost everything else, and for that you need to trust yourself.

  • Wonderful advice for those who do not do their own research.

  • THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS UP....Thank's again

  • I used to have insurance and it always seemed like the doctors would try to prescribe a pill everytime I saw him or her. My advice is don't take any medication that has been on the market less than 5 years, unless you absolutely have to. Also, read the cautions and interactions carefully. Then learn to listen to your body, especially after you take a new medicine.

  • Is that just for the US, or does it count in Norway too?

  • hello,

    Its wonderful.

I like your attitude towards patients.

But , this is India, where most of the patients die due to malnutrition, diarrhoea ....forget about Heart surgery.

  • I love this video

  • Excellent advice.

  • continued.

One thing important here: second opinion should still base on the doctor's or professional opinion.

If someone merely does have tiny knowledge about a particular disease or the medicament which was given, but spents plenty of time to doubt all the things, that will make the treatment REALLY tough!

Thanks again, I love your opinions here in "sychetruth".

    :-)

  • Generally I gratefully agree and appreciate this statement, although I am a doctor too.

If I got sick, I will only trust the doctors who I really know where they come from. I can swear, there are a lot of doctors still have much to learn and more information to give to the patients what probably was not performed.

  • Agreed, one should check things out.

Nothing personel here but I'm sure I've had that "adjustment"that all Chiropractors seem to give when it really wasn't the proper treatment.

  • Great advice. I totally agree.

I don't take all drugs my doctor gives to me, especially anti-biotic. If I got a cold, anti-biotic does not help. Doctor gave me that something just to prevent complication. But I rather want my immunity system to do that.

  • hospitals are the 2nd biggest killer of people today

  • Disease is create when the body is out of balance. This takes place due to external or internal forces, to include stress, self hatred, unresolved issues with love ones or self. External forces can also be chemicals from what you ingest, which in this day and age it is all poison. Medication, I believe is part of the drama and conspiracy of the medical model, keep them barely alive, just enough to dump their poisons in you.

  • Big Pharma is very powerful and are part of the plan started by the secret society. We have the ability to heal our selves, it is by maintaining balance mentally and physically. Be weary of vaccines, and any form of chemicals, just look around you, cancer is running wild, ADHD, and all sorts of neurological conditions. Stay safe and educated, and keep balance to ward of di-sease.

    Peace and light

  • I do not trust them and what I find the most alarming is their lack of respect for patients (a lot of them are that way). Many are doing this job because it pays big bugs, forgetting this a vocation more than a job.

    Do you ever use Medline?

  • the best remedy for good health is salads, fruits and vegetables. no dairy, grains, meats, additives, etc

read any diet books by Ross Horne - he is an absolute legend !!!

  • Great advice.

I love how you compare this to people treating their bodies like a VCR. If you don't treat your body like it's precious, no one else will either.

  • awesome awesome candid video. good information.

I agree. I have to explain all the side effects of the meds I turn down that my doctor offers me. My doctor on the other hand, knows she is a generalist and that she is not up to date on every last new medical trivia. I teach my doctor stuff, every time I see her. :) She still treats me even when I refuse her advice.

  • My husband had gange green and was told by all the doctors in the ER that he was going to die. One doctor came in...and told my daughter that he would live, she would make sure. And he is alive today after 2 mnts of surgeries and intensive care...thanx Doc!

  • A rule of thumb i live by is simple. If nothing is wrong with you, dont bother.Watch what you eat ,question everything, and do your own research from all data whether it be libraries, internet, friends or family.

  • My trust in doctors is kept on a very short leash.Ive been to a doc 4 times in my adult life so far and no adverse affects.I do get any report of the symptoms ,the prescription, and the follow up.I get a printout of my visit with the doc in question as well. That way if something fouls up ,even if im dead i have proof the doc messed up and not me.

  • I agree w/your suggestions 100%. mc

  • Back surgeries just lead to more back surgeries - and every time your back is worse until eventually it doesn't work at all. OTOH, the majority of back problems will correct themselves with time, rest and therapy. Sometimes surgery Is recommended, of course. But not as often as back surgeons recommend it ;') I have a lot of faith in the Salonpas hot patch (oil of capsicum), which is the old mustard plaster. (this is Not capzaisin, which I don't like)

  • I know an ER doctor who says most of the doctors she knows have "arrangements" with a slew of pharmaceutical reps. In other words, they get a "consideration" for pushing a particular, usually new and very expensive, drug. An older, better-tested and cheaper drug may be better - or maybe no drug at all. And it is definitely true that pharmacists know a lot more about drug contraindications - especially if you have a few specialists prescribing different drugs, and being unaware of each other.

  • A bottle of whisky a day, keeps the doctor away

  • Great Information.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • I dont trust them

  • I have been thinking this for sometime so its great to see this out for myself and others to see!!!

  • It's a good idea to do a little research for yourself. Good video

  • It is not a matter of Trust or Distrust, rather it is a matter of reason and personal responsibility. If your doctor makes a mistake he may be sorry; you will be dead.

    DJP

  • I completely agree...talk back our power and WE decide what is best for us! : )

    Peace and Blessings,

    Angie

  • I thought he was talking about my auto mechanic
