I went through some health issues myself while i was in school involving my heart. I'm better now. I want thank you for being there to support her in time of need. @HeySubscribeMe Be very careful when you comment on how you would handle this disorder with suicide. I have a rare genetic type Dystonia that is being treated with Carbidopa/Levadopa. I've had this disorder all of my life. My disorder was this severe when I was growing up. I was so suicidle because that was what people put in my head. I was told to just kill myself and that no one would care or love me. It wasn't the disorder that led me to these thoughts. It was people close to me.

@babymalai I have dystonia in my neck as well. The Botox injections do help, but I'm taking a pretty high dosage and worry about when that stops working altogether. I don't think anything has stopped my spasms entirely and like your mother, I will be fighting to get around every day. Please thank her for opening up a way for the rest of us. I'm just so sorry it hasn't helped her.

@wdgoldenlady You're not alone, there. Studies show positive results from cannabidiol, as well. Seems to be one of the few things that reliably helps.
@TheNandopro I'm suggesting that the trials using a substance within cannabis have been positive in outcome. They've not done all the studies that they need to. If I had this problem, I'd sign up for those. I'd think anything that is soothing to the nerves would be a step in the right direction, though.

i was have that crazy shaking temporary from intoxication with metals especialy- iron !!! anyone can have this , oll you have to doo is to drink 100ml of haloperidol(liquid iron). but i not recomanded because can produce death very fast.
it's funny you should mention haldol...i developed tardive dystonia from taking haldol for paranoid schizophrenia. I have muscle spasms in my neck, hands and mouth, and i will have it for the rest of my life...so anyone who says to "fuck dystonia" should do some reading on the subject before they go shooting off about something they don;t understand. Dystonia is real, it's debilitating, and i have to live with it everyday!

i was have that crazy shaking temporary from intoxication with metals especialy- iron !!! anyone can have this , oll you have to doo is to drink 100ml of haloperidol(liquid iron). but i not recomanded because can produce death very fast.

it's funny you should mention haldol...i developed tardive dystonia from taking haldol for paranoid schizophrenia. I have muscle spasms in my neck, hands and mouth, and i will have it for the rest of my life...so anyone who says to "fuck dystonia" should do some reading on the subject before they go shooting off about something they don;t understand. Dystonia is real, it's debilitating, and i have to live with it everyday!

Yes she does I know her personally and hang out with her a lot. It's really sad to see her have a attack because she can't move, speak, and she shakes uncontrolablly. She had a such a future. She was/is a model and she did dance! But now she can't! But she can function when her body wants too. It's depressing! BUT SHE'S GETTING THE OPPERATION TO CURE HER!:)

obviously mattems911.... you don't have a clue or a heart. I am on full disability from my job, I cannot drive, my income is less that half of what I made. I am deeply depressed and in excruciating pain every day and I try to hide it from my family. Most people don't have a clue...just like you. I went from being a person with a fantastic job that was going to help pay for my daughters college ... to being helpless and barely able to live on what I now receive from SSDI and Ltd.
