I think it´s this non-conformity and rawness that appeals the most. How many ginger haired young guys do you know in the charts now? Yes, there are some really great musicans out there, I agree, but he´s enjoying more success than most at the moment. Good luck to him, he performs with heart. Spot on!

@chaxta I don't think his appearance has anything to do with it. The charts don't have a lot to do with music anymore, which is a shame. People want easy music, and I guess that's what they get from it, so fair enough. It's true, he is enjoying more success than a lot of other people doing similar things, but I think that's because, at it's core, it's not much different to other stuff in the charts, it's still easy music. Easy is fine, just don't hail it as high art.
