This is 1977 and they say they never take advice from outsiders as to which single to release. But in 1980, they did finally give in to outside advice when Michael Jackson urged them to release "Another One Bites the Dust" as a single in the U.S. Prior to Michael's recommendation, the Queen road crew had encouraged the band to release this one, but they did not agree. After Michael said it, they did release it, and of course it went to number one in the U.S.
