To take the many years of Whitesnake material and friggen deliver the goods to and audience willing to pay to see them perform their craft. Capitalism plain and simple. And they all did a great job. Delivered a product, their artwork, to the masses and made their bread and butter. Excellent show and DVD!

I've been to enough Whitesnake shows in recent years to know that Coverdale is struggling with his voice more often than not. He is one of the all-time greats but unlike his Purple buddy Glenn Hughes he has not been able to sustain his voice. Glenn on the other hand is singing and sounding better at age 60 than he did when he was 25.

He made a shitload of money off the '1987' album but the downside of it is that'll have to keep 'Still of the Night' in the set for the rest of his career which he simply cannot do justice anymore. It''s kinda like Rob Halford screeching his way thru 'Painkiller' at age 60 when he should've retired that song at least 10 years ago.

Well Sabbath put out music decades longer than Zep for one reason but most importantly, Sabbath rocked much harder than anything Zep ever put out. I still listen to Sabbath but couldn't tell you the last time I put a Zep disc in the stereo. I've never thought that Zep was even close to Sabbath.
