My father and I live on opposite ends of the US. We love Sunday Morning (SM) and we sometimes share our love of it in conversation. This piece on SM actually made my father upset. LOL. My mom related to me that he couldn't understand how this kind of success can happen to someone when there are other artists out there starving.
I smiled. Took it as a compliment to my own struggles as an artist. But I don't feel that way. You have to work long and hard for success. So kudos to you Rodrigue!

I can't believe your works 'didn't get much critical acclaim'. There's some terrible stuff in galleries that gets good reviews, so I think I'd consider it a compliment!

What a lovely video! Cannot thank you enough for the wonderful videos on George Rodrigue and Blue Dog. I have loved Blue Dog for many years and have never found another mascot who speaks more eloquently to me than she does. Am sending this link to France to my canine friend Milou. I'm sure she will enjoy meeting you. :))
