  • It's a racing Civic, and they still put a Wing on it... I guess it's just to stylish for anyone to pass up.

  • @Tarvisse That down force on the rear wheels on a FWD car.

  • Yup these Type R's are going to be instant classic's. Most of what Honda was founded on was actually fuel efficient vehicles with low environmental impact. They were always leading in that area, and has been voted Greenest automaker for so many years now. They just happened to be excellent at producing killer sports cars, but in today world sports and eco friendly don't mix well. But I'm sure Honda will be first to bring out a proper Green Sports car.

  • Apparently Honda bosses have confirmed there will be NO more Type R's after October 2011..

Do you know if there is any truth in this or is this just simply rumours based on the fact that they are removing production of the FN2?

  • The CE28s are the best looking rims that Volk Racing has developed..Specially the limited edition CE28Ns..

  • I would sell my butt for this car.

  • カッコィィ。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

  • amazing car and amazing tuner

  • wow.!!! what a damn civic.!! I want it ='(

  • What are those rims called?

  • @angrut volk rays ce28

  • wow

  • i wanna put ce28 into my fd2...nice...

  • If the Car is FWD why does it have a huge rear spoiler? or is this car 4wd/awd?

  • @MrRichstitch For many reasons.at high speeds the car will be twitchy without some additional downforce on the rear due to aggressive rear suspension settings to help the car rotate during low speed corners.Aso it puts more traction on the rear at high speeds so you don't lock the rear wheels while braking hard. The myth that fwd cars don't need any downforce is usually perpetuated by domestic rwd car owners...which is somewhat true when talking about an average streetcar that never sees the trak

  • @MrCap0ne Thank you for clearing that out :D

  • What a great series of Civic Type R. I really hope that Honda would keep coming out with the R version when the new body is due out in 2011. But all I've heard is that there is no plan for the replacement Type R after the FD2 chassis ends....... sigh......

  • @koukiR32 It's obvious this FD2 and FN2 will be the last TypeRs with pure petrol engines. Wonder when Hybrid/EV TypeR will come.

  • Hehehe 69, I never get tired of those VOLK CE28n's :)

  • @shynobithief Love em too. I got them on my car. Timeless design.

  • @hondaresan Nice. I want TE37's when I turn 17 :D

Can't wait to get a first car. Hopefully a s14 or EK hatch
