  • Nice song! In 1997 here in city in Brazil worked 4 russian scientists in a state University (professors for lecture in physics and engineering courses, invited by brazilian government) They helped developing technology for producing artificial diamonds. They brought their families. A russian girl (scientist's daughter) studied in my school, next my class. All of them were very well-educated, very friendly and very intelligent. Their kids learnt portuguese with our french teacher. Nice!

  • @Pedrofrombrazil P.S.: They came from Sankt Peterburg, and I searched the summer in this great city is colder than the coldest days of winter in my city ->> :O

My warmest regards from Romania, to all russian people !!!

  • I'm part Polish but respect to all Slavs!

  • Как это комментировать заявление для возникновения Советского Союза.

  • @TheMacSecrets хорошо, но я капиталист.

  • @ESU1996 REVOLTING!!!!!! What a disgrace to the mother land.

  • @TheMacSecrets Calm down...I know it's a disgrace, but...I live in Holland. How could I be a communist? All capitalists in the west, communists in the east. Holland is a very rich country, and it's capitalistic. Russia is a very poor country, and it's communistic. So we shouldn't look at what's a disgrace to the mother land, but what's actually better for the mother land. In order to make Russia a less poor country, and to make the differences between rich and poor in Russia smaller.

  • @ESU1996 That's the Russian Federation!!!!

  • @ESU1996 I live in America and I'm a Communist of the former Soviet Union.

  • Things like this make me hope I'm Russian.

  • @Only4Russian Too bad the U.S.S.R fell hope it rises once more.

  • @Only4Russian Privet tevuilsh. I am on a quest to bring rise to the former Soviet Union in all it's glory and with the revision of it's few small flaws. Would you be willing to assist me tevuilsh?

  • instead of evening we can say "dusk" (both mean the end of the day :D)

  • Evening is vetcher, what is dusk in russian?

  • Spasibo :)

  • @Zalley66

    ne za sto

  • My wife is a beauty,

    Waiting in my home,

Waiting all sad(the last two 2x)

As I come back home at evening,

I hug my wife, feed my horse.

    Oh, Jack-Frost, don't frost me

don't frost me or my horse (2x)

  • Who sings this songs ?

  • P.S. I used "Jack Frost" in the translation, but we also say "Old Man Winter" in English.

  • I love to sing this song in Russian when I'm walking on a frozen winter day (хотя у меня ни коня, ни жены нету!)

    :D

  • English translation:

    Oh, Jack Frost,

    Don't freeze me (x2)

    Or my horse!

    Don't freeze me,

    Or my horse (x2)

    (Which is) white-maned.

My horse has a white mane.

    I have a wife --

Oh, is she the jealous type! (x2)

  • prijvet! hi! this is a fabulous russian folk song. i heard it first in goa in a russian karaoke bar moskwa! :-) i sang it with 4 russian girls. simply wonderful :-)

  • I love it, too! I am glad that you have lovely memories with this sweet song:)

  • Классное видео!

Маленькое замечание: на 01:15 поётся "у меня жена раскрасавица", а не "у меня жена, ох, красавица" как в субтитрах.

    Very well video! Thank you!

I have a little notice: at 01:15 there is singing "U menya zhena raskrasavitsja", not "U nibya zhena, okh, krasivaja" as in subtitles.

    Thanks again!

  • Wonderful video...song and images: that was REALLY harmony! I'm impressed! Than You so much!
