  • no one asked any of you what you did when you were 16, let this girl have a big party if her family can offered it and are giving it to her good for her.

  • its not 21 lol

  • I had no sweet 16. Hurricane Ike hit and knocked the power out in town for about 2 weeks so everything was closed and/or not working. I had a sweet 17 instead: with a small group of friends, movies, and just hanging out. Sweet 16 is overrated. Not even that, any birthday, no matter the age or what you do, can be special.

  • Holy crap, my sweet 16 was blue jeans, cold pizza on a hot June day and like 10 friends just goofing off outside.

  • i only got a small surprise party not faney at all

  • sweet 16 birthday parties now are extremely overrated. what happened to having friends come over, eat junk food, stay up late and watch movies? yeah i didn't have a big party,i quite honestly didn't need one.

  • why does it matter what she did for her sweet sixteen, if thats not something you would do then fine, just get over it

  • I spent my sweet 16 at the summer camp i worked at! it was the best sweet 16 ever!

  • I didn't have a sweet sixteen. My birthday is a day before one of my bestfriends, we were going to just have a sleepover with our friends like the top comments said, but we never got around to it haha. I don't get how sixteen is that much of a big deal. My best birthday I've ever had were when I was little, and probably my 15th. 18 should be the "big deal" one, I think. But honestly, who cares. It's just a number...you're still you.

  • Wow! For my 'sweet 16' I had a good party planned. But only 2 people came, and it was strange because one was my best friend, the other was my other best friends boyfriend (she couldn't come because she got sick)

My "SWEET" 16 was the worst birthday I ever had! I think the best was my 18th :)

  • Wtf! This is ridiculous. For my "sweet 16" I got to pick the restaurant my family ate at.

    This is weird.

And why does only the number 16 get to be distinguished as "sweet"?

  • I didn't have a sweet 16, I had a quinceañera in Mexico :D

  • my cousin had a party at a reasturant and everyone dressed up but it's sort of like tration in our country i think

  • i had my sweet 16 alone my mom and dad went looking at houses

  • 300 dollars?? no big deal?? wtf they are so spoiled!! im having my sweet 16 in two weeks... we're going to see a movie! ....

  • Even sadder still are the people who shouldn't be spending that money on a dress, but bills and whatnot

  • some people just have too much money to spend

  • When I'm going to be 16, I would just have a small get together with my family and like 2 of my friends :P Simple as that

  • the first thing i did on my 16th birthday was wachting how i met your mother on the internet with maybe 4 friends XP

  • I had a bonfire for my sweet 16. Good lord, some people.

  • thats redonculus i dont even know if im gonna have a sweet 16

  • that dress is disgusting

  • ew that dress and those shoes are so tacky ... $5,000+ for that

LOL guess money can't buy class huh

  • mine was with my family nothing like this.

  • I NEVER buy anything at stores that support Israeli buisness. Don't understand that anybody would support today's Aphartheid Occupation state. It's blood money to a military nazi state!!

  • Three hundred dollars for a dress is no big deal?! A 50 dollar dress is a big deal for me.

  • that dress is hideous

  • Spoiled

  • My sweet 16 was spend on thanksgiving with my family in memphis, all i wore was jeans and a top. And i had amazing food on that day since it was thanksgiving. But for my juinor prom had no alterations done what so ever but for my senior prom had a little bit of alterations done but not big ones though. I ended up going to about 3 or 4 stores and was able to find a dress at the 4th store in about an hour

  • I had pizza and cake with my family on my sweet sixteen. My fiance didn't even celebrate his - he spent it doing manual labor for his dad's company that day.

I didn't even go to alterations or any crazy appointments for my senior prom, the only school dance I attended. I went to a store once with just my mom and bought my dress after about an hour, tops.

  • Meanwhile, in Kenya...

  • A 300 dollar dress is "no big deal?" -_-

  • why do you need a paparazi?

  • ~*Spoiled*~

  • I didn't even really celebrate my sweet 16.. this is crazy

  • Did she say it was "300 dollars, no big deal"? Please tell me I'm mishearing that. :S Yeah compared to 10K it's not much but it's not no big deal.

  • ridiculous

  • my sweet sixteen me n my bff gt our belly buttons pierced

  • The only people that don't seem to have a problem with how much it and the party cost are people who've had an expensive sweet 16 too :l I didn't even have a party

  • sweet 16?! my sweet 16 (I actual was a sweet 16) present came in a wal-mart bag. What is this girl learning about life though this level of extravagence?

  • These videos always have the biggest dislike ratios comparing to other type of video on youtube.

And I don't get it why. Stop disliking the videos just bcs you don't agree with the price of a dress or if the bride is too picky.

If it was all cheap dresses it wouldn't be entertaining. Trust me. You wouldn't want to watch me buying the 10$ top that I get it for my 16 birthday

  • @uberfrozenglow well she's not a bride... she's a spoiled 16 year old girl... - sorry but these parents are INSANE... that kind of point and take mentality destroys any sence of reality - well thats my opinion

  • 1:58 Anyone else think $300 is a lot to spend on a sweet 16 dress?!

  • oh that dress is absolutely terrible!

  • the dress makes her look 12yo and not 16

  • @MsSparklesNGlitter she always looks 12 im 12 and people has mistaken me for a 15 yr old

  • whouldnt putting the money for college be more productive then a dress for a relatively unimportant birthday in one's lifetime...i had a party with all my best gfs, we ordered pizza, played truth or dare, talked about the cute boys of our high school and i did it all in pj's and furry slippers and LUVED it

  • I had a huge sweet 16... not one like hers but everything all together cost about 20k. I don't see anything wrong with it because it's a cultural thing for me. Just because most people don't do it doesn't make it wrong.

  • Her dress is ugly D:

  • She's a freaking twig no joke

  • The money tht these people spend on the DRESS!!!!!! It's ridicules. I mean, whts the real point?

I rly didnt like tht dress, it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY too short!!!

  • Pinina( i probably butchered her name lol) sounds like a cocktail.

  • I wore a shirt and Jeans for my sweet 16, not exactly the girly girl type. ;)

  • Haha, my sweet 16 dress was $30 bucks from forever 21. :)

  • Omg butt 10k for a 16 dress..how much wud she spend on her wedding ?

  • OMG I want that dress!!!!!!!

  • I was never into dresses .. Or heels ... but it's fun watching these because I like watching that person smile their hearts out xD

  • Can you say spoiled - ~-

  • She has the money--well, at least her parents probably do--so I guess she can go all out for a sweet 16.But, my big question is if their are practical girls out there who would rather save up that four figured number for college?I had a Sweet 18 party, wore a nice dress, but all in my backyard.I have to agree with the commentors and say that that dress she had on doesnt look fantastic at all. She's a cute girl; she could do better.

  • Honestly, I can't even remember what I did on my 16th birthday. I probably had a cake and a couple friends came over and watched movies. The materialism in this world just blows my mind. If you've got the cash then spend it I guess, but how is that kid going to learn to appreciate anything in life when she's getting a minimum $5000 dress + party expenses for this one broad-spectrum insignificant event? "How should I wear my hair? What shoes do I get?" Oh, first world problems.

  • I'm have my sweet 16 in January =A= and I can assure you i will be lucky if I get a little bit of money.

  • ugly dress, ugly shoes....and the girl its kinda ugly so it kinda makes sense now!! haah and btw pnina tornai's dresses are ugly most of them if not all!!! too tacky

  • OH

    MY

    GOODNESS!!!

  • The most special part of my sweet sixteen was going to watch a play performance of Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (Never mind the fact that that was a class trip).

  • I didn't have a Sweet Sixteen because I didn't want to look like a brat.

And that dress does not fit her right... Idk, I don't like it on her.

  • for my sweet sixteen i put up the christmas decorations and hung out with my family.no limo no 3,000 dollar dress. just plain and simple

  • My sixteenth birthday party was spent in pajamas watching Pixar movies with a few friends. And I made myself a yummy cake.

  • @AmethystAnna I know! My mom bought me a bottle of wine and we had a camp out in the back yard with a bon fire.... it just seems so much better...

  • I had a karaoke themed birthday wen i turned sixteen, but i did have a limo.

  • I'm sorry... That's ugly.

  • good job princess

  • Its looks like any other dress to me.. Just cheap..

  • I find the dress made her looked really mature.

  • that dress is horrible im sorry i have more style than most americans truthfully lol because they say europeans have more style well i like european style lol i HATE american style for the most part

  • so sorry but this is awful, cheap and trashy.....no wonder why they say, Europeans have more style!

  • @Viktoire25 hey dont try to act all cool ok they could do anything they want to

  • For my sweet 16, i got to go to dinner at buffalo wild wings and make my own cake....... my sweet 16 was a year ago. My sweet 16 cost me 30 bucks and i had a great night.

  • That dress looks cheap...

  • this girl's style is so me! i'm suprised! good thing she's not spoiled :P

  • actually my distaste of the video is the stretched view. I'm not sure if that is to make everyone thinner or what but I don't like it. I dress is cute but I'm not sure how it looks on her and I doubt she would really care. Could we get a better view of the actual dress on a person without the stretch?

  • for my sweet sixteen i had 2 friends over for fondue...

  • 5000-8000 dollars?!?!?!?!......damn.

  • dress is pretty but I wish it was more "red carpet" looking like she said her theme was.

  • Wow... my sweet 16th last year... wow... compared to that.. ROFL!!! We just had pizza... and and ice cream cake. Maybe it's just because I'm unpopular. Ha ha ha.

  • The dress looks pretty and cute! :D

  • let me just say, if she thought she were entitles, then i would be angry because kids these days do think they are entitled, but i'm not getting that from her.

  • i agree that people shouldn't look down on this girl. she isn't rude or full of herself. her family has the money. people talk about how others who buy expensive things instead of feeding starving orphans. how many of you actually do that? don't tell me you don't waste your money on coolattas or dvds. some of you don't and i can't judge because i don't know you, just like you don't know her. and by the way, to really poor people in third world countries, you are rich.

  • $300 is no big deal? Wish I was rich..... :'/

  • I'm having a costume party, MAYBE renting some space, and a horror movie theme (it's really close to halloween). Gosh, what's up with these girls who spend thousands of dollars just for a dress??? I'm lucky if I even get a party, never mind shiznet like this

  • SWEET 16 SONG NEW!! It will MAKE YOU CRY!!! B E A U T I F U L !! Written by the father of Tiffany Nicole, Christian Pop Artist!

  • ONLY 300 DOLLARS? 10,000 dollar dresses? O.o Uh... does the word "recession" mean nothing to these people?!

  • @TaYdUrToTt Uhm spending money HELPS recessions... we need more money moving throughout the market so that businesses and their employees can prosper.

  • My husband is hispanic, so not 16, but the 15th birthday party for a woman is a BIG deal where people spend thousands of dollars on food, dresses, and the party. It's an induction into womanhood. This girl is very modest, like someone said, it's not her fault she is fortunate enough to get a big party. She is not rude, snotty, or conceited at all. I had to go to church on my 16th birthday but had a nice dinner. If people want to do other things that's THEIR deal.

  • These sweet sixteen parties are ridiculous :/ I think I had the dentist on my 16th. No one gives a sh*t in England.

  • @LeoDeGrand lol im an American and have been to a lot of sweet 16 parties. never been to one like that. Just shorts and a tank top lol. I think those sweet 16 parties like that are obnoxious. At least you and the people in England agree :)

  • For my sweet sixteen my family surprised me with a day in Vegas (two hours away) & dinner at my favorite restaurant. No fancy dress, party, or friends. My family is more important than any of that.

  • this girl is spoiled but atleast shes polite. I wish i had a sweet sixteen i was grounded.

  • 300 dollars ! No big deal !

  • She needs more boobs for the top of the dress and the bottom is awkwardishh :/ I'm not a fan of the color either... oh well! at least she'll have fun on her sweet 16!

  • I actually kinda like this girl. It's not her fault her parents are rich and she acts very modest. I like the dress to tell the truth. It's not too over the top. Some girls get massive dresses with jewels everywhere and some even get 2 or 3! Yup! I like her :)

  • I went to school for my "sweet 16". I might have had an exam that day, actually.

    Nuts to all ya'll.

  • @xAsterisk I had a provincial that day and it was my worst mark....

  • when she said paparazzi i think she mean photographers .

    1- she isn't famous

2- paparazzi only comes for celebs

3- i bet she only said that because she was on the show to showoff

  • @gosselinlover216 no I think she ment Paparazzi , My guess paid paparazzi . To make her theme more realisitc. Like a PINK Carpet, Paparazzi taking pictures. I dont like her dress and I dont think shes that pretty but if she got onto this show with that then I guess its something ?

  • i can't believe people are spending that much on a sweet 16 party. yeah, i understand you only turn 16 once, maybe twice for some, but to spend several grand on a day thing. not happening. for my sweet 16, i never dressed up, i got my hair colored and cut. but i didnt anything else fancy or anything near to these people

  • My sweet 16? I went to Boston Pizza with my best friend... That's it..

Are people really spending that much money on their 16th birthday?

  • i think for my "sweet" 16, i hung out at borders with my mom, ate P.F. Chang's (hoity-toity!) and saw "there will be blood." One brother didn't come because he had some guild thing in WoW, and the other had to work. but we all met for dessert at the spaghetti factory. total cost: $60ish.

and it was the best birthday of my life :DDD

  • I didn't want a huge party. I had a bonfire and sleepover with my best friends and had wayyyyyy more fun that I would if I was throwing a party.

  • i had no sweet sixteen... i just watched toy story 3 and ate mcdonalds for my sixteenth birthday...

  • @hellheaven08 SHUT UP I DID THE EXACT SAME THING. but i think i did wendys...

  • My sweet 16 will be more modest...

  • you can get a dress like that much cheaper at the mall at DEB >.< lol

  • "my dress was only 300 dollars" that's still a lot :/

  • The dress isnt that nice :L

  • I'm gonna have to have a cheap sweet 24, dollar store and party city birthday.

  • @DemiLovatoFanSince07 :D LIKE A G.

  • wow

  • What IS a sweet 16?? .___.

  • @KingdomHeartsNinja watch the full review here .. /watch?v=0b7mwTK564o&NR=1&feature=fvwp

  • You know what I did for my sweet 16? I played video games by myself and hung out with my family. Didn't even have a small party, or anything. Then again, I don't see the point in celebrating birthdays, anyway, but I mean... really? Turning 16 isn't 5000-8000$ worthy, in my mind.

  • @TheSpareohs Hahahahaha, sounds like mine. My parents and I had cake and they gave me a TV to replace the broken one in our basement. And my dad took me to get my learner's permit. Yep. Didn't guzzle down a few grand on a dress or a party....I needed the money for college.

  • i never had a dress like that fo my sweet 16...not most people do its also alittle to short for me

  • I think she seems like a very fine girl. Also natural pretty. I don't get what people says about her being ugly.

  • This... is so american...

  • My sweet 16 was getting to go to a fancy french restraunt for the first time to try escargot (we planned that since I was 11) and mini-golf and games for 3 of my friends...

  • T. L. C.

    The Learning Channel

Tell me : What the fuck are you going to LEARN from watching a little spoiled brat choosing mother fucking expensive clothes for her stupid 16 party !

The only thing you will "learn" (realize) is that the best thing for this people is to kill them selfs and write all their money and belongings to people who really need it !

  • thumbs up if your sweet 16 was a normal SMALL birthday party in your backyard with family and then a girl's/guy's night to top it all off: no sparkly limo, no $8,000 dress, nothing too expensive/extravagant

  • @turtle08s

Actually mine was having pizza, cake, and custom made chocolates for my friends at school, a field trip (thankfully on the same day), and with family = cheesecake factory dinner. To me, that was normal and the most memorable sweet 16 I love and cherish.

  • Is this what people have come to expect for their sixteenth birthdays now? I only turned sixteen three years ago and all I did was hang out with friends and go for dinner with my parents. No extravagant party, no expensive gifts...

  • @pegasigirl2010 same wid me!!jst got a new tee shirt dats all went for dinner wid parents!!!

  • LOL i didn't even HAVE a sweet 16, just chilled with a few friends, ordered pizza and had a BLAST hahaha

  • I didn't even buy a dress at all for my sweet 16...

  • My prom dress didn't cost as much! It nearly cost me 500$ with taxes and shipping and handling (I ordered it from the US). My "Sweet Sixteen" was a gathering of my closest friends and we ate pizza and cake at my house and then we went to the bowling alley and came back to my house for a movie and that was 3 years ago. We had just as much fun in jeans and t-shirts. Seriously, they overdo birthday parties these days but they're always fun when you're not paying for it.

  • I'm going to be sixteen soon, and I'm not even having a small get to together for my birthday at all! Let alone some huge sweet sixteen party!

It just bothers me how so many people are starving in other countries and money is wasted on these kind of things. I duunno, thats just what I immediently thought of after watching this.

  • Woah. For my "Sweet Sixteen" I just went out for dinner with my parents to my favorite restaurant and got a $60 purse.

That was about it lol, and I was fine with it.

    Spoiled, shallow little brat!

  • am i the only one that thinks that dress looks cheap and ugly...?

  • You can by a fuckin car for five thousand dollars. What a waste of money. She is 16, not getting married/gonig to the Oscars

  • I am having a quinceanera soon and my dress is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS but it didn't cost $5000, it cost $200 (which i am paying for myself) but I hope her sweet sixteen was AMAZING(:

  • Am I the only one that wore jeans and a t-shirt on my sweet 16 and the highlight of my day was a grocery store bought cake?? Crazy!! But hey, if you've got money and you want to spend it on an expensive dress go for it.

  • That young girl was born with those looks, it's also not her fault, that Mummy and Daddy has money. But looks are only skin deep, it's whats inside that counts, she is most probably a very nice person. Life is too short for us to be so hard on each other.

  • Sheesh I didn't even buy a dress for my sweet sixteen. A few of my friends and I wore t-shirts and jeans and watched chick flicks on the couch.

  • I actually like the dress, its cute and age appropriate. My sweet sixteen dress though was like 60 bucks as opposed to 5 thousand :(

  • i would give an arm and a leg to have that fancy of a dress for my sweet 16...counting down the years....only 5 left. But I am paying for at least half of my dress and party.

  • that is such an ugly dress. it reminds me of something a 5-year-old would wear

  • Sometimes I'm glad that I'm raised in a low to middle income family. It makes me fully appreciate everything that I have. I'm in university and doing well for myself. If it was me, I'd rather use the money for school etc. But hey it's her family's decision. And yah she's spoiled not bratty

  • don't really like that dress...

  • I don't understand why everyone's hating on this girl. YES, she's spoiled, but in this video she's never demanding or rude. When she asked her if no one else was allowed to wear pink, I was thinking "Oh god. Here it comes," but instead she said it was NOT a rule.

  • @crpsbryd1108 Don't you think it's sad that allowing your guests to wear whatever color they want is enough to make you not a brat?

  • I don't even remember what I did for my sweet sixteen and I'm nineteen. I just remember getting a used car so that I could drive my sister around since my parents are both really busy.

I think it involved making smores in my backyard....

  • Love the dress hate her

  • For my sweet 16, I went with my family, and one of my close friends out to my grandfather's beach house for the weekend. For a whole weekend, it was A LOT cheaper than that girl's sweet 16 party.

She looks a little skinny for that dress. With her red hair, a blue dress would've balanced her hair a lot better. The pink dress is too similar in color with her hair.

  • omg fucking god you are just turning 16 get over your self do you do this everytime you have a birthday what a bitch!!! hmm.. parents must be in dept....

  • hahahaha that girl is fucking ugly plus her dress is tacky it seems more like she's thirteen and shes at her bat mitzvah or something

  • omg shes so pretty mostly cuz shes skinny =) i wish i could be size 0 like that im probs a 4 LOL

  • @tiffsayshey actually shes ugly... not her face(just trying to be nice, haha), but the fact that shes super skinny!

  • My sweet sixteen I just spent the evening with my mom and my brother and I had an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. It was nice :) I personally think nothing good ever comes from spoiling a child, but what do i know?

  • That dress isn't that pretty...the style is but the pink looks faded and the fabric looks wrinkled. If she's going to spend that much money on a dress it can at LEAST look nice. But to everyone calling her a brat, she's not. Spoiled? Yes. But she's not a brat, she's not whining and complaining about every detail. It's not her fault her parents are wealthy, all they want is the best for their kids.

  • I think sweet 16 is way overrated...16 is nothing, just another year...I don't think parents need to shell out all that cash just because a girl is turning 16...waste of money.

  • for my sweet 16, me and my two best friends are gonna go the beach and spend the day together and then maybe have a sleepover. no fancy dresses or themes, just friends having fun together. and you know what? i wouldn't have it any other way.

  • Wow $5,000+ for a Sweet 16 dress that most girls won't wear again! Personally I think thats just a little ridiculous. If the parents want to spend the money thats there decision but I would actually rather have my close friends, not strangers that go to my high school, come to my party.

  • What's so significant about turning 16 when you're a girl? I never understood it.

  • Everybody hates these girls because they mom and dad's money for their envies......but let's be honest who would refuse mom and dad's money? (to get anything?). People tend to say no...but it's mostly so they could prove somehting so their life seems ''better'' than spoiled people.
