You are so right about the complexity of the tax laws. In many states, businesses also have to deal with the State's tax code. Most small businesses must hire a comany such as Paychex simply to deal with the taxes....one slip up and the penalties could put you out of business.

He's not Forcing it, he merely said he would be willing to compromise for having a Flat Tax to help pay off debt while until we restore the strength of our dollar. At that point he wants to eliminate all taxes other than what is required for infrastructure and basic small government requirements.

@trnjana I believe that when they first passed the Income Tax in 1917 it was to be a temporary tax. Let's see....that's almost 100 years ago. Not exactly temporary.
You are so right about the complexity of the tax laws. In many states, businesses also have to deal with the State's tax code. Most small businesses must hire a comany such as Paychex simply to deal with the taxes....one slip up and the penalties could put you out of business.
Everyone should try running a business for a while.
