my truck has a hard time starting ...glow plug relay is shot on mine ..maybe that why yours has a hard time starting? hopefully after i get mine fixed it should start up no problem

@MaTT22296 yaeh i work at a diesel shop and i see more cummins get dragged in then any other diesel, and guess what its mostly the 5.9!!!! very seldom do we have a powerstroke pull in and if we do its usually because some idiot tried beefing it up and ended up fucking it up!!!

If you wanna work get a ford if you want to waste money get a chevy. If you like seeing you truck get worked on get a dodge gasser. the cummins engine is the only good thing dodge has ever done and yes i know cummins is there own company
my 96 would started every time even at -10c with no glow plugs working it just took about 10min lol But yea never put autolite glow plugs in they suck and will swell in your heads and you will never get them out next time they play up and the tips break off in your heads and what not Its just bad news with those suckers Buy the oem ones from ford forsure
I think I put Bosch glow plugs in, if I remember correctly. I don't know what they cost because they were given to me by a friend who had them laying around. I no longer own the truck, but a friend of mine bought it from me. As far as I know he hasn't had any issue with them.
