The choreographer made a bad choice here. What I mean by that is some of these moves she was not ready for for example trying those a la secondes. Also she needs to point her feet on turns and leaps. Also being more out there and showing it on her face. I do want to say se is just adorable and I love the costume it was really cute!! Keep dancing!!!

i agree with scopra1. i understand she's 7, and she is absolutely amazing for that age. she has so much potential, and with years to come, she will grow into a fabulous dancer! i think that the choreograph wasn't powerful enough for this song, but i still think she did an excellent job executing it, especially being so young. keep dancing!

This little girl is very talented, and not just for her age as some would say. Her performance was awesome and she had great control in her moves. She should definitely be a big star some day because she is a little star now.
People should stop talking about the outfit, she's a dancer, she has to be able to MOVE in her outfit. I personally think shes a good dancer with lots of potential! shes only seven and can do things alot of people of any age cannot do.
Why are choreographers so lacking in creativity and imagination that they cannot come up with a routine that purely showcases a 7 year olds talent ( and quite a talent she is) instead of putting her through the same old hashed out moves that make her look like a miniature stripper? I sometimes wonder if it is really lack of imagination or just enjoyment of sexually exploiting children...

As I said before, the CHILD is very talented and her talent can stand alone without sexualized moves and revealing attire.
Thumbs up if you think people should stop watching these videos and posting that the outfits are inappropriate or the girls are too young. Months ago when that video of the girls dancing to Beyonce came out everyone was shocked but if you follow this stuff there is nothing shocking about it. People over sexualize the outfits, dance moves, and the ages of these girls. If you don't appreciate it then don't watch it.
@thedanceshop11 Well it's just my opinion. I started competing when I was 13, and it was weird for me seeing all these parents being really competitive with little girls. I'm not really into competitive dance anyways. I think it's all about the performance, and expressing yourself. Not trying to be the best. I'm 18 now, and I'd rather be in a show than compete. Also I think having a solo is something you earn. I wasn't given one until I was 16, and it was because my teacher saw how hard I worked

This dance blew me away! I love this song! But, this applies to most dancers- Why are all dancers skinny, flat - chested, flexible barbie dolls? I have a full figure and I do amazing dancing. I wish I took lessons I teach myself and no one has seen me dance the way i like dancing.
Dancers are not all skinny. I agree with you that many good dancers are flexible, but they work hard getting there, even if they are born with it. They are NOT barbies. No one is saying that only skinny girls are beautiful dancers. I'm sure your a very good dancer, the way you dance, but do not judge girls by the way they look. It is very rude. I get the feeling that she wasn't having very much fun performing.
I mean, it was a brilliant routine, but it looked very forced.

Wow! That was amazing! I've been dancing for 9 years and I still cant do straight leg fuates, or any fuates (sorry if i spelled that wrong) or illusions! And she's only seven!!!!!!!!!!

This dance blew me away! I love this song! But, this applies to most dancers- Why are all dancers skinny, flat - chested, flexible barbie dolls? I have a full figure and I do amazing dancing. I wish I took lessons I teach myself and no one has seen me dance the way i like dancing.

Dancers are not all skinny. I agree with you that many good dancers are flexible, but they work hard getting there, even if they are born with it. They are NOT barbies. No one is saying that only skinny girls are beautiful dancers. I'm sure your a very good dancer, the way you dance, but do not judge girls by the way they look. It is very rude. Would you like someone calling you a barbie doll? I wouldn't think so.

I accept the apology and I'm sorry if I came off as attacking you. I'm just so tired of people commenting on young girls dance vids saying that they are all "to skinny" or "need to eat cake." It is very hurtful to them and who is it helping anyway?

yeah, im one sick individual with WAY too much time on my hands..haha yeah right! i still think they look like hookers. just cuz the song says "turn it loose" doesnt mean they have to dance like that! thats just nasty especially for their ages!

i am a dancer and im the farthest thing from skinny...we're all differnt normal girls with a passion for dance...it has nothing to do with size
